Lost 6 lbs .. so exiting!

Nothing scarier than a doctor telling you that you have pre-diabetes.

I picked up on MFP and started to log meals. It worked! I’m more mindful about what I eat everyday. Lost 6 lbs in about 2 weeks. Went from 146 lbs to 140 lbs.

My diet is high in protein to be able to sustain myself and avoid cravings. About .8 grams per target body weight (180 lb).

It helped going to the gym 4 times a week for 30 min doing weights and cycling. Oh I’m on a wheelchair since I’m a lower limb 37 year old amputee, male.

6 lbs may not be much but for me feel like a milestone. Can’t wait how much more I can lose. Keep going guys! Best wishes on your journey.
