    Jennifer - 53 years
    Re-started 4/24/24 - 236.2
    CW: 200.6
GW: 165 (may adjust when I get there)
    Loss since 4/24/24 - 35.6 Pounds
    5'3" Tall

    11/1/24 - 204.4
    11/11/24 - 202.8 - So close to ONEderland!
    11/18/24 - 203
11/25/24 - 200.6 - I feel like the Price is Right gameshow, how close can I get without going over? LOL
    11/31/24 -

    November loss- (3.8) lbs.
    Workouts last week - 6 - goal is 6
Step goal - 4/7 days (goal is between 8K to 10K)
    Total Steps - 63,410
Average Steps - 9,059 per day

This app is acting crazy today! It took a bunch of tries before I could get to my community.

I am SO close to onederland. I would love to end November in the one hundreds. I am actually at my lowest weight that I've been in at least 9 years maybe longer.

My tests this morning (mammogram & ultrasound) went very well. Just some duct estucia and calcification. But since I am high risk, they want me to have an MRI in 6 months and then mammogram 6 months after. He also wants me to get established with the high-risk clinic to see if I am a candidate for genetic testing. I will have the full test results after the holiday and will discuss with my doctor. It was very much a relief to get such great news.

I had my scan last week; I lost a few pounds, but I also lost some lean muscle mass. My trainer believes its due to the amount of walking that I've been doing. Plus, I did not train while I was on vacation. I am curious to see how the scan comes out in a month. Since I will be training and walking consistently.

I hope you all are doing well. Happy Thanksgiving this week.

I have been stuck gaining and losing 10 pounds for the last six months. It's very frustrating but I can admit that I haven't been consistent with my exercise or my eating. Starting again during the holidays isn't ideal but I'm hoping to get under 200 before the new year.

GW: ?? I'm not sure. I can't think that far ahead. I'm not completely unhappy with the way I look now but I know I could absolutely stand to lose another 40 pounds.

    1. posture exercises :)
    2. sweep the deck :) BRRR! I waited until noon because at 8:00 the wind was blowing and the feel-like temp was 4 degrees.
    3. 6 hr 53 min of sleep :(
    4. Photo organization not yet today
    5. Create :) - I finished a crewel embroidery project that my daughter gave me to make last year...or was it the year before (LOL)!
    6. Hourly activity:) I'm on target to get 12/12 hours today.

I've been looking into learning how to do "rope flow". I need to find something active that I can do outside in the mornings now that the leaves are all gone and I'm bored with sweeping a clean porch. Well, there is dust, but how much dust can it collect in a day?!

I get a couple of emails a week with workouts so today instead of passing it by I did a 15 min upper body workout and a 10 minute walk workout. I plan on doing that whenever I get one of those messages and will keep track of the ones I like to do on days I don't get an email.

Gotta run now, but wanted to tell @CupcakeCrusoe that I wasn't able to add you as a FitBit friend. It said your username couldn't be found. :(

Hope you all have a good night.

    1. posture exercises :)
    2. sweep the deck :) BRRR! There were actually some leaves this morning after yesterday's wind!
    3. 5 hr ? min of sleep :(
    4. Photo organization On hold until next week.
    5. Create :) - I traced a design for a table runner that I will do in blue work embroidery.
    6. Hourly activity 8/12. Lots of car hours again. But I'm getting over my past steps count and that's the goal.

Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US. My kids and grands are coming on Saturday for a big dinner. My son is smoking 2 turkeys so there won't be any broth for gravy so I'm baking a big chicken tomorrow and hope to have enough to use on Saturday.

I took a rest day today after two days of weights, one upper body, the other full body. Will do a workout tomorrow.

WOO-HOO! Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Don't know if there is going to be anybody around to celebrate with me, but I've hit 179.5! 20.5 pounds down since starting my weight loss journey! I'm right on track to reach 175 by New Year's Day, and I know I can do it! Consistency has paid off!

For some odd reason the only place I seem to have lost inches on is my under-bust (1/2 inch) but I haven't been measuring my "natural waist" and I think that's been moving. I've been measuring at my navel and that is not budging, nor is my butt. But I feel lighter, in spite of the lingering back rolls. Oh well, I still have work to do! I've got my eye on the prize!

@lisakatz2 That is amazing!!! You're living proof that consistent hard work is the answer to meeting goals. I think if you keep working out, the measurements will change over time so just enjoy how good it feels to be where you are right now. Congrats on your progress:)

    Goal Body Fat: 20-25%

    Goals for November: ✔

    - Log meals daily and accurately ✔
    - Gym 2-3x/week ✔
    - Drink more water and less sugar ✔
    - Treat myself once/week with a self date ✔
    - Weigh in at 200lbs at the end of the month
    - END OF YEAR GOAL: 199 lbs 😍

    NOVEMBER:
    1st: 204
    2nd: 203.8 🍩🍪🧋
    3rd: dnw
    4th: dnw
    5th: 206 lbs
    6th: dnw
    7th: 204.8 lbs
    8th->27th: dnw
    28th: 208.8 lbs

    Non weight Successes:
    - Consistency and genuine enjoyment in going to the gym twice/week to work out
    - Became fully licensed for me job, and am now making good money
    - Finally was able to prioritize myself and prepaid for 38 personal training sessions that I'll be using Dec->March, ideally 2x/week
    - Intuitive eating rather than tracking strictly, because I had a lot of other things going on and didn't want to burden my mental health with semantics

Hello! It's been a minute since I updated, and it's mostly because I've been so incredibly busy I haven't been on top of tracking my food choices. I just started working fully licensed 2 weeks ago, and that took up a lot of brain space. The job I do is considered "full time" at 25hrs/week, and I've committed to 38hrs/week (because I need the money and the demand is there, so why not) so as you can imagine that's a lot to adjust to.

The good news is, I've stayed effortlessly consistent in the gym, truly looking forward to working out now. This is a huge accomplishment for me, as all other times I've gone through gym phases they fizzled out come October because the weather cools off and so does my motivation. At this point, sometimes when I'm at work I feel my body itching to go to the gym (even though my work is physically demanding), this week I'm going an extra day because of it. On top of that, I've begun outgrowing the free weights at my gym for my lower body, and will have to start transitioning to working with machines to continue challenging myself (unless I decide to do everything one leg at a time).

I've also just invested in 38 PT sessions to do, on top of going to classes at my gym twice/week, so I might be upping my workouts to 4x/week on top of work, and will be getting some help meal planning as well so I'm going to see if I can "cut" after my holiday bulking 😂. I believe I'll be training for 20 weeks, so I'd like to lose 10% body fat if I can (I'm around 36% now), but I'll be talking to my trainer to see what she thinks will be healthy and realistic as well!

I'll be reading through everyone's updates shortly, excited to see what yall have been up to! 🥰🥰

Thanks for the compliments, nebslp! It does feel like work, but well worth it. I agree with you, the belly and butt will come down eventually, I just need to be patient.

I love the successes and goals here, Congratulations! I've worked with a PT in the past. It's a great investment. Even if you can't afford it long term it's a great way to kick start a new phase of progress.

    Good morning everyone!

It's December, I fell off the wagon hard this past week, what with the holidays, I didn't even log. But! New month, new chance to do better. Time to run up to NYE like I own it.

Weighed in at 178.1 this morning, pulling my average UP to 177, yikes, lol. My fitbit is charging, I've got my protein coffee, I'm gonna go fill up my jug of water, time to meal prep. Back to basics.

See y'all in the December thread!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

My NSV is that my size 12 jeans are getting a little big. This is the last size that I have in my closet, so I will need to buy a few things pretty soon. Up until now I have been "shopping" in my closet.

Heading over to the December thread now...
