Getting rid of message indicator

Hi there,
I wonder if anyone can help?
I don’t have any unread messages or communications in the system but I’ve got a persistent red indicator which I can’t get rid of.
I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but even that doesn’t work.
Any ideas? :-)

I’m assuming Android, because I e never seen this on the iOS app, and I’ve used it for years.

Try going to the community page, click the notification bell (it’s at the very top in this iOS app screenshot).

If it’s showing posts that need to be read, (again, iOS, but Android should be similar) go to the bottom and there should be a button above the swirled arrow that says “Mark All As Read”.

That should clear any pending community notifications.

This screenshot doesn’t show it because I’m current, but it should be in the general area where the arrow is pointing.

If that doesn’t work, check “friends” to see if you have any pending requests, and likewise check “messages” to see if any PMs from friends are sitting there, unread.

I think it’s a hiccup as I’ve had it for a few days. Then it went and came back (iOS). I don’t have any messages, no pending requests and I don’t appear to have been tagged in anything. I also can’t get the main notifications icon to do anything - which might be where the issue is?

It is an iPhone – but that worked a treat and thank you so much! It was driving me nuts and now my screen is all nice and tidy again. I thank you. X
