Hello, I wonder if there's any downside to working out every single day (60 minutes minimum)

Yep - your body does need rest days here and there.0

Depending on how hard you are working out, you should work rest days in as well. Right now we are doing 4 days on, 1 day off for cardio and strength training.0

u should give yourself at least one rest day. You dont wanna over work yourself and get fatiqued out! your muscles need a little rest as well. Recovery time is just as beneficial Give yourself one day of rest AT LEAST! Your body needs it0

I was wondering because for almost two months I have been working out non stop and although my resistance has gone up my knees are hurting (my excess weight really takes a toll on my legs workout) But on the other side I really am kind of proud I have achieved this consistency. So I don't really know.0

I personally don't think it would hurt, I mean look at people who work physical jobs or professional athletes etc. But as to wheather or not it's fun that's a whole other subject and I'd say not : ) In the end just do what suits you.0

Go see a doctor for that knee pain and find out what it is, perhaps you should wear a knee brace. My theory if it's hurts don't do it.I was wondering because for almost two months I have been working out non stop and although my resistance has gone up my knees are hurting (my excess weight really takes a toll on my legs workout) But on the other side I really am kind of proud I have achieved this consistency. Well is more of sore knees that anything else, you know that feeling when you work out for first time after a long time of being sedentary... well, something like that. That is why I was wondering if I really needed time for my body to rest0

You can workout everyday but you shouldn't do the same thing or the same intensity everyday. This is one reason why body part training splits are good because it can allow you to workout every day. Also, watch how intense your cardio is everyday, mix low-impact with high-impact. Example split
mon: chest + light cardio
tue: legs + light cardio
wed: cardio
thur: shoulders + light cardio
fri: arms + light cardio
sat: cardio
sun: cardio0 -
I'd say it depends on how you are working out. cardio everyday is probably okay. But give your body a day off between weight training or switch upper body one day and lower body the next. To build muscle you break down existing muscle that needs time to repair. As far as the knee pain, never let your knee go in front of your toes. When you squat always stick you butt out like your trying to sit in a chair. It will feel funny at first but will save you knees.0

Since you're doing low intensity exercises, you can do it every day.0

Yeah, burnout eventually.0
