Take one large cooking apple, slice off the top and scoop out the core. Sprinkle with a little sugar & cinnamon and bake for about 30 mins until soft.
Mix plain greek yoghurt with some vanilla extract and cinnamon and fill the apple cavity. Sprinkle on some dark chocolate shavings/ cocoa powder and a drizzle of honey/ maple syrup....
Yummy!! about 150 cals for the lot )0 -
bump... I watch my carbs closely now but before that one of my favorite healthier treats was to take a cake mix, any flavor (chocolate and spice flavors work very well, so does red velvet) and mix it only with a can of pumpkin, no other ingredients. Bake them into 12 or 18 cupcakes.... sooooo good and super moist!0

oh I like the sounds of some of these....
a quick and simple dessert idea - peel a ripe pear, heat in micro 1-2 minutes....eat with yoghurt.0 -

I crave peanutbutter and chocolate all the time, My easy fix, which always works is this:
1 Tablespoon peanutbutter (any brand)
1 to 2 tablespoons hot fudge
1/2 a cup of breyers smooth and dreamy fat free ice cream.
I made fun of fat free ice creams until I tried this one, it is sooo good.
anyway heres what you do, get a really small bowl, and put the peanutbutter on the bottom of the bowl, smooth it out so its nice and flat, put the hot fudge on top of that, and the ice cream goes on last. When you bite into it the layers really compliment the flavors. The calorie count and everything usually depends on the type of peanutbutter and fudge you use, I recommend using your favorite, or Hershies. ^,^ Hope you like it.0
