LCV= Lifestyle Change Victory (like picking a healthier food option, or working out when you're dead tired), rather than non-scale victory (like fitting into a smaller pair of pants or getting checked out, although those are great too ;). I am also trying to make changes for myself each day, and thinking about posting something motivates me to do something, as does seeing what others are doing.

Mine is that I had a glass of wine at dinner last night, then went out with friends and drank club soda the rest of the night, extra calories be damned!

    We had a "Sunday get together" at work this morning and I didn't eat a whole bagel, I didn't eat more than one bite size muffin/biscuit. I carefully measured the Sausage gravy so it was more of taste than a whole pile of it. I cut the egg and cheese biscuit into a quarter and ate just that instead of a whole or half a biscuit. I thought about WHAT and how much of what I was eating instead of just eating. I was tempted for seconds, but avoided those too other than the fruit-grapes and 1/2 a banana. So, it was a good morning for me.
  • i used to live on diet pepsi. would be the first thing i'd take out of the fridge when i woke up, and was nothing to drink over 2 litres a day. now, first thing i do is grab a 1 litre bottle of water out of the fridge.
