I am vegetarian but I'm pretty sure you've got some adjustable recipe !

I love smoothies! My current favorite is 8 oz Dark Chocolate Almond Milk and one banana in the blender with enough ice to make it thick and slushy like a shake. About 220 calories if you don't share!

I actually just made some delicious homemade applesauce in my lender (sugar free, too! You can flavor it up so well without it) yesterday! Will be making some more in a few days.

Love smoothies! Chocolate almond milk, banana, a bit of vanilla yogurt, and some frozen fruit.
Protein powder, banana, your choice of milk
Water, lemon (and/or lime) juice, frozen fruit, little bit of agave
For some green power, spinach, apple, lemon, ginger, celery, water, ice-sounds weird but is actually really tasty

    I love green smoothies!
today I made "ice cream" frozen bananas and pumpkin pie filling! so yummy!!
I also make tomato sauce (a few tomatoes, a red pepper, a celery stalk, garlic, onion and basil - no sugar added, no salt, just let it simmer down the consistancy you want)
I've also made chocolate pudding with avocado, an orange, agave syrup and cocoa powder

Black Bean Soup! Yes... in a blender. Sounds kinda strange, but it is amazing. I am going to make it today I think. I am frantically searching for the recipe! It's black beans, salsa, seasonings all blended together then you put it in a pot on the stove. So yummy!

If you like cauliflower and healthier versions of traditional recipes, try the 90 calorie alfredo sauce:

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/198038-90-calorie-alfredo-sauce-d

Because I'm vegetarian also, I added 2 tbsp ground flax and 1-2 tbsp nutritional yeast for nutrition. These add calories, but it still beats full fat traditional alfredo.

    Green smoothie! :D

Kale or spinach + banana, with ice and water - the banana/spinach ratio whatever you prefer. :D I've tried it with soy protein & whey, and milk - I like just the plain water version best, and it's super healthy, great way to hydrate. My favorite breakfast. :)

Every blender recipe I know starts with tequila or rum. :drinker:

I'm not very helpful. :embarassed: But I also spent 18 months with a painful slipped disc in my jaw, and wasn't able to properly chew foods, so the thought of smoothies and shakes gives me the shakes.

Here are some of my favorites. All are at least lacto ovo vegetarian and some may be vegan (not sure which you prefer).

I also finish a lot of my soups by blending them in the blender.

Yesterday I threw together a guacamole soup. It's a cross between guacamole and a green smoothie.
