Frozen food

Just wondering when you put in how much food you have is it the weight while frozen or is it after it’s cooked ????

If you're weighing uncooked, look for an entrg that specifies uncooked. Of you're weighing cooked, look for an entry that specifies cooked. Uncooked is generally more reliable for calories, as when you cook food, it w I ll lose or gain an unpredictable amount of water.

I weigh precooked. Frozen or thawed doesn't matter, weight doesn't change (volume might, but weight doesn't). There may be a minuscule amount of water weight that might change due to evaporation or thawing, but I doubt it's enough to really affect things for the purposes of weighing your food (for example, if I freeze chicken breasts and then thaw them, some water remains in the bag that was in the chicken breast prior to freezing).
