Caloric intake

Hi, so when setting up my basic calories to lose weight I chose an activity level… now every time I work out I track that and the app gives me more calories, am I double dipping on these calories since they may already be accounted for? Or is the activity level question for more-so your metabolism of some sort?

The activity level question is meant for your standard daily level not including purposeful exercise.
So I am a desk worker, but I walk 15000 steps a day as exercise, do yoga daily, and go to various classes 3-4 times a week. I have mine set at sedentary, and let those exercises be added back as extra calories, because if I get busy and can't do one or all of those things one day, I am sedentary.
Someone whose daily job has them much more active would pick a more active setting, like if they're a teacher, a construction worker, a fitness instructor etc etc - because their day to day is a lot more active, and so they burn more calories just going about their day.1
