Can't access free version

Hello. I'm new to myfitnesspal, but it won't let me access the free version, only the paid versions. Please help. Thank you.

    These community discussions are part of the free version. In fact, there really isn't a free "version" and a paid "version," just paid features and perks that overlay the paid version, as I understand it. both "versions" use the same food database, the same community boards, etc.

    Could you be more specific about the issue you're encountering? Also, the people you're talking to on these boards are members just like you, not MFP employees, so we can only offer advice and information, not actual fixes.

    mfp access is automatically set to the 'free' version. paying for mfp only add access to things that are locked. you can still track food and communicate with people through messages or message boards for free.

    There is a free month of premium. But the macros I track are in the free version and the rest doesn't really do anything for me. So after the month is up I won't be paying. It will still work just fine.
