A sweet treat that I enjoy is caramel rice cakes with natural peanut butter layered on it and melt chocolate chips to put in top of peanut butter. Pop in freezer and enjoy. It’s so good1

I am a sugar fiend, and I cannot moderate. Having a "healthy" sweet snack doesn't do it for me, it just makes the craving worse, and when I cave, I've had the calories from the cave and from the earlier snacks.
I fight sugar cravings with opposite foods - sour or spicy. Pickles, tom yum soup, olives etc.

For me, making it a point to eat several servings of fruit daily reduced my cravings for more calorie-dense and nutrient-poor sweets like candy and baked goods. It took a small number of weeks for the effect to kick in, so it took willpower at first, but didn't require willpower long term.
That doesn't work for everyone, but I've seen others here say something similar, so it might be worth a try.4 -
Yeah, I can't moderate sugar either. Even when I use to leave all those sugary desserts, ice cream, pastries out of my diet and just consume pastas, bread and root veg eventually the urge to consume 1chocolate croissant was inevitable with weight gain as the prize, so I finally had to admit I needed to remove most carbs from my diet, which I did an no regrets and it actually helped with many of the health issues I was dealing with at the time and a few that I didn't know I had until they were gone. Hope you find a way around your problem, it's definitely a persistent and nagging worry no doubt about that.4

I always keep sufficient calories for a snack or two. And honestly, if I feel like eating more then I do, log it, and go on with my life. It doesn't happen too often, but usually when I try to not eat those 1-2 snacks0
