Did you purposely mention the wrong sport here or was that an accident?

Mind if I applaud the "accident?" Or is that kind of tacky?

Should I say, “it’d be considered a strike out”, just to introduce more jumbled sports mentions/ references?

    Why are you asking me?
I'm asking you, the guy who plays first base, what's his name? 😂

Am I the only one who memorized that entire exchange for fun?

While I'm quite familiar with it, wouldn't I have trouble repeating it verbatim?
Who else has imagined a similar scenario with the name of rock groups?
Can anyone suggest names to add to these ones: Them, the Who, the Guess Who, Yes?

How about U2? Can you see how that would be used?

"Do you know the name of that band? I'm confused..."

    "U2"

"Oh, so you don't know either?"

Could we complicate the skit even more by giving band members names like Who, What, Why, Because, Today, Tomorrow, etc.?

Isn't it sad that SNL has more music playing than MTV?

Is it sad that, as a small child, I could have watched the Muppets concerts, MTV, and SNL if we had more than 3 channels back then?

Is it even sadder that, long before the internet or even video tapes, as a small child I could only watch at best 3 channels (ABC, CBS & NBC)... on a black & white TV?

How come old TV programs and movies from that era are still mostly black and white, when all TVs sold today allow color?
  • srazamora

If they can recolor photos, can’t they recolor video, too?
  • nossmf
    nossmf Posts: 14,020 Member
Or was the entire world back then black and white, and color wasn't invented until the new TVs sprang up?

Didn't color come into the world about half way through The Wizard of Oz?
    And then again in Pleasantville?

Is color entirely stable? Didn't we lose most color temporarily in Sin City, with only red remaining?
