I wouldn't see why not it is an excellent workout! Stay in your calories and do that everyday and I am sure you will lose weight!0

The more you walk the better your knees will feel
Any activity you do that will help you burn calories will help you lose weight as long as your following a healthy eating routine
I have the Wii Zumba and the lack of graphics kill it for me.. but it is a good workout0 -
I LOVE wii zumba mostly because my girls (age 6 and 4) pretend to be the shadow dancers behind me and dance along with me so its something I can do with my kids and still get a workout in.
I have a HRM and can burn around 300ish cals in the 20min party of wii zumba
with that said I am a believer that weight loss is 80%food 20% exercise so imo food is the key0 -
I googled Roussy Levy Syndrome and I'm sorry that you have to deal with this. It must be difficult. Based on what I read, I don't think any of us here have the expertise to advise you, really. I'm sure you could lose weight because if you follow MFP you live in a calorie deficit, which leads to weight loss. Whether Zumba is the right exercise for you, THAT I think is where you need a doctors advise. Good luck!0

I don't really care for the Wii Zumba, just because I'm so used to Zumba class being so much more intense and face paced. In class, you are kinda forced to moved or you'll just get run over or bumped in the head by the person next to you, lol!
But with your condition, I think the Wii Zumba, or any other Wii exercise will be good because you can go at your own pace and do what's comfortable to you. Moving something is better than nothing, I think, so go for it and do what you can. Good luck!0 -
I do the wii zumba routine 5-6 days a week for my cardio because I can't go to a gym (small kids and the cost) I am seeing good results doing this plus watching my calories. So for me its working, but eveyone will have different results, good luck :-)0

I just got wii zumba. I've heard good things and I'm optimistic. I have zero rhythm so I may find myself sprawled on the floor but I'm game.0

Zumba for the Wii is great calorie burner. I know nothing about the condition you mentioned, but would wearing knee braces while you workout help?0

I think that is awesome that you have lost 19lbs.!!!!
I've never been skinny either, grew up in an Italian family eating lots of good food and have no clue about portion control.
Food for me is a very important part of my social growing up and the portion and exercise part is something that is difficult for me to have understood till now, but sometimes I forget about the portions!!!
I will try to log onto myfitnesspal daily, I know it will help and especially seeing people like you who have lost and are loosing.
Thank you for the inspiration!!
