Am I on the right track? Advice?

My name is Lilly, i’m almost 20 and i have PCOS and AFRID. I wanna say i’m 5’3 and about 200lbs, maybe more but I refuse to weigh myself and i don’t have a scale anyways. I’ve only been tracking for 2 and a half days, but my calories have been around 1,500 ish, but my daily goal is around 1,350cal. I have a walking pad and I use it for about an hour and 20 mins 5 days a week and 4lbs weights that i use 3 days a week for 10 mins. I wanna know if i’m on the right track, i try to prioritize protein but It’s a bit hard because of my ARFID, I don’t like a lot of different meats and i pretty much only eat chicken, ground meat, and bacon. If anyone has some food. I also have intense sugar cravings, specifically chocolate cravings. Please help?? 😭

You can lose weight without weighing yourself, but it will be considerably more difficult to know if you're on the right track. You wouldn't likely know until your clothes start to fit looser, which could take months. You may have to shift your focus to "eating reasonably" vs. losing weight. Which is fine. You also have no way of knowing how many calories you should be eating, so you'll just have to go off whether you're getting too hungry or not hungry enough and adjust accordingly.

Hi Lilly! I am also fairly new on here but I related pretty well to what you share as I am 27 and struggled with a very restrictive eating disorder in the past. I also am not a fan of a lot of meat products but I have been getting protein in Greek yogurt, chickpeas, edamame, peanut butter, cottage cheese. If any of those feel like something you are willing to give a shot I would highly suggest that! As for chocolate cravings im with you there, I found some chocolate chips that are 70 calories per serving and I warm them up and have two servings with some Greek yogurt for and end of night snack before bed and it has been really satisfying which surprised me. I wish you the best of luck!
