So, I'm pretty new the the exercise and diet thing.
I just have a question. Is it normal to still feel the burn throughout the day after working out?
I don't feel it just sitting here, but when I get out of my chair, or bed, I really feel that burn in my legs that I was feeling earlier during my workout.

Is this normal? Is this bad?

Did you stretch afterwards? Otherwise the lactic acid will remain in the muscles and make them sore....Stretching after you finish made such a HUGE difference for me!

No, it's pretty normal :) If I run in the evening, I usually feel it until the next run. It just means that your muscles are really working, since they aren't used to that kind of exercise. Eventually your body will get used to it, and then you'll just have to push harder!
  • Oh whoops! I totally forgot to stretch after.
Thanks for the help, I'll make sure to remember that next time.

Glad it's not something serious. :D
Thanks again, both of you. :)
