    I ran a 10k race with a friend. We met up at the finish line for a post race beer.

    I did meet one of my MFP friends. He drove up to Canada this past summer and we spent a few hours chatting and enjoying food. It was a great experience.

    @cmsienk was travelling for work and spent a few days in my hometown. I didn't know about this until the day she was leaving, so didn't get to show her around or cook her a meal, but we did meet for coffee on her way to the airport.

    I met @melg7777. We went to Target in some random midwestern town. Then she bought me a cold brew from Starbucks because she was trying to get me to “put out.” It worked.
