Hellllloooo!

My name is Sarah, I am 20 years old and have always been fat. A few years ago I lost about 13 kilos by starving myself but quickly put the weight back on when I started eating again. This time I am going to try and do it the healthy way and maybe stand a chance of keeping it off.

I started the Tony Ferguson diet 9 days ago but the forums do not have a portable means of communicating with people and I really need something that is going to keep me honest.

With the TF program you're not allowed any carbs but the ones from shakes, fruit and vegetables. And it is all very specific so I am hoping by honestly logging what I eat, I will be more likely to stay on track.

The reason I am desperately trying to lose the weight now, is my partner lives in the US. He is a good old fashioned Texas boy and met me when I was at my fattest and loved me anway. Unfortunately after his exchange was over he had to go home :( . Well my 21st birthday is coming up and my parents are flying him down to see me. I want to look my best when he arrives and be skinnier for my birthday on the 8th of Jan 2012.

I started 9 days ago at 86.6 kilos and have lost 2.8 kilos. I am now 83.8 with a long way to go! Ultimately I would like to fluctuate between 65 and 70 but my aim is to get to 65 first :)

I would like to be 70 kilos by 8.1.11 for my birthday.

Welcome! You will be amazing. You have the motivation and the right ideas for eating. Now you have the support of MFP! Remember to not get discouraged because the last little bit is the hardest to lose.
  • Yeah I suppose it would be! It's going to be a long journey but ultimately worthwhile I think.
