Help!

I am new to this, and am trying to achieve weight loss, and beat it once and for all. I struggle with What to eat for Dinner. And always have. I also struggle with the weekends and what to eat ie., takeaways. I also struggle with knowledge of how much (portion sizes) I should be eating. I was really hoping if anyone that has lost weight if they would also let me view their diary's for HELP! so I can see what others are eating that works. We are very basic eaters meat/veg. and any diets they give you are usually stuff there is no way we would eat it ie., lentils. Anyway thanks hope someone out there will help me ....appreciate it.
