Garmin Connect Calorie Adjustment?

Does anybody actually end up with a negative calorie adjustment when they sync in very regularly with Garmin Connect?

Sure, I've had negative adjustments. That will happen when you're less active than your selected activity rate. I'm only set at sedentary, so I get negative adjustments in two cases:
- on my rare couch potato days (small negative adjustment)
- on days where are my activity happened within exercise sessions - most frequently when I've spent the day hiking. Garmin's calculation of calories burned during exercise includes BMR calories, so in order to avoid double counting those BMR calories, I get a negative calorie adjustment subtracting my BMR calories during exercise. This effect is most noticeable for long exercise sessions where the BMR calories add up to a significant amount - on hiking days I'll get a negative Garmin Connect calorie adjustment of several hundreds of calories, but a positive total adjustment since I've been very active.

I hate them and turn them off. It’s irrational, but, there you go. I still see weird weight loss.0

It's dumb and I don't pay attention. For instance, today I did a hard spin class for 45 mins, burned 330 cals and my calorie adjustment is -330. WTF? so MFG negated my total exercise calories?0
