  • I think I’m officially out maintenance mode.
    I changed my breakfast go to and concentrating on more fruit and vegetables and swapping healthy snacks for processed ones.

    There are only 6 days left in February!

    Got back to spin class yesterday after 4-5 weeks out of it. Seeing lots of maintenance on comments and I suppose I've been in that state since November. I'm not going to see any real progress until I consistently increase my activity. Work in progress....still.

    I worked out pretty hard Sunday morning. I had better energy than I had all week and felt really good. Could be the stress of the work week had finally settled out.

    Already dreading the week ahead with work. As it is I am getting messages to request I join a call at 6:00 am my time . That would be a no.

    Thanks @CorvusCorax77 !! What worked best for me really last year was calorie deficit via food. So tracking and weighing, having three solid meals. I find I have to set my calorie limit pretty low. Last year I set it at a number, ate very consistently at that number for a month and when I didn’t lose I dropped the limit by 100. I did that twice and found the limit that works for my body once the lbs started moving. For me, exercise is important for overall health but it doesn’t move the scale so I don’t rely on it for that.

    Weighed twice and didn’t move scale when I saw this new low. Hope it’s for real. Over the past week I was particularly mindful about reaching a true calorie deficit with both food (better choices) and added weights to my routine. I’m going to continue weighing and measuring this week. Think I need to refill my vegetable bin today!
