I do most of my workouts without shoes. Though sometimes I have to use them to keep from sliding on the floor0

It depends on the workout. I know I'm prone to shin splints from hard surfaces so for high impact activities I always wear shoes.0

You've done P90X and Insanity with no shoes? Interesting0 -
No shoes ever unless I'm walking outside.0

I might try this because sometimes when my shoes laces are too tight the top of my foot hurts and this can be inconvenient when working out.0

All my workouts are Beachbody based: I only wear shoes when doing Insanity, Plyometric X and Interval X Plus. I love being barefoot.0

I workout on a carpeted floor, sans shoes. When I walk or run outside, I wear my Merrell Pace barefoot shoes. They're great and allow me to run without any pain.0

I used to do zumba barefoot until I smacked my heel on my bed one day & a couple of days later I ripped half a big toe nail off with my other heel. Now I wear shoes every time because I'm a danger to myself!0

I had been doing 30DS barefoot (I too love not wearing shoes), but a few days of that left me with nasty shin splints. So now I'm wearing shoes. Still have the shin splints (not surprised, a BIG girl doing jumping jacks will do that), but not as bad.0
