Search not working well

in MyFitnessPal Tech Support Questions

On the desktop app, lately whenever I search for a food I get "no results". After hitting search numerous times I eventually get results. Please advise or fix. Thank you!

    Noticed the exact same thing on the Desktop / website version, and came to post this as a new topic before seeing your post.

    Used to be I could search for "Corn Tortillas" and I'd get results. Now, I get "No results found".

    If I search for "Tortillas Corn", I get the results I used to get a few weeks ago. Basically "Tortillas Corn" suddenly gives me the same results as "Corn Tortillas".

    Anyway, once I search for "Tortillas Corn", I'll see the usual big list of options for corn tortillas. If then go Back, and search again for "Tortillas Corn", I get no results.

    If I search AGAIN on that search box that just showed me "No results", and search AGAIN for "Tortillas Corn", I get a full list of results.

    But, I can never search for "Corn Tortillas". Those always turn up as No Results.

    Multiply this by 50 different foods and it's super aggravated. "Safeway Mixed Vegetables Frozen" used to give me results. Now, it gives me nothing. But, "Mixed Vegetables Safeway" gives me results.

    Another hilarious one that was NOT working yesterday (but seems to be working today) was "Hawaiian Pizza". No results found. I had to search for "Pizza Hawaiian" - and that gave me the results. Try it for yourself to see if it works for you.

    Been using this app for over a year so I know how the search SHOULD work. It's not working like that in the past week or so.

    Same problem, its very frustrating as my normally searches are coming up with nothing found.

    Problem is still happening. Searched for Chicken Sandwich today, got results. Changed to to Chicken Sandwich Fried, hit Search again, no results. Hit search again, literally just told it to search for Chicken Sandwich Fried again, and a bunch of results showed up. Hit Search a third time, and No Results Found. Hit Search a FOURTH time, and results turned up.

    So it seems that if nothing shows up, just keep hitting Search until it does. Annoying, but a work around.
