WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR MARCH 2025

Kylia - sounds like you really needed that nap, and plenty more. (((HUGS))) I nearly dropped the heart monitor cellphone into the toilet several times myself. I just didn't have/wear clothing all day with pockets that accommodated the thing. Was very glad to send it back. Hope yours gets working again.
Debbie - thank you for sharing those neat photos of your son. I am envious of his thick hair and shiny hair. And love your long curly hair too. 😉
Rebecca - sounds like some possible change of plans for you. Buses aren't my favorite way to travel but the last one I rode in was comfy and had a nice bathroom, lol.
Lisa - love your cheery spring blooming trees and bushes (and everyone's.) You look great in your new sweater in your latest video, by the way. Great colors for you.
Rosemarie - don't blame you for thinking about getting your own mower. Lawn maintenance services can be very expensive. Maybe there's a place you can take some for a "test drive" to see if you'd really like one. Glad you got your travel arrangements set up to visit your mom.
Mo- this is Rosie (actually she's in the lower photo, inspecting "her" chicks.)
Mo also - if you weren't a nurse, is there another career path you would have taken?
Barbie - I got an email from my Congresswoman yesterday about Social Security, perfect timing. Here are some bits and pieces that might be applicable for some of us wondering about it. I was able to have a quick "zoom" interview to get my online account set up which I use for both SS and the IRS. As Margaret mentioned, I uploaded photos of a few documents which they reviewed. For older folks who aren't up on technology, this can be a challenge tho.
Last week, the Social Security Administration (SSA)
announced
new identity verification procedures that will be fully implemented on
March 31
. Only folks providing new or updated direct deposit information or applying for cash benefits are required to complete the verification process, according to the agency’s
Frequently Asked Questions
.
The new verification process can either be completed with an online account at
ssa.gov
or
in-person at a Social Security office – and you will no longer be able to verify your identity over the phone.
The agency also announced plans to expedite changes to direct deposit information from 30 days to one day.
I truly support efforts to end fraud in our public benefits systems, but I am also deeply concerned the Social Security Administration is disregarding the reality of living in rural communities where we may not have reliable internet access or be able to drive to a Social Security office hours away.
Withproposals
to shutter Social Security field offices elsewhere in the country, I also think it’s critical you
set up online accounts for the
Social Security Administration
and
IRS
as soon as possible and encourage your loved ones, neighbors, and friends to do so as well.
This will allow you to access your work history and tax account information, receive announcements of cost-of-living adjustments, and make changes to your mailing address and direct deposit information. If you need assistance with online technology, I encourage you to visit your local library or senior center.
The storm…
The big storm forecast for my area yesterday afternoon never materialized. There was some heavy rain in a few areas but nothing out of the ordinary - getting a couple inches of rain in a short period of time along with small hail is normal here in the spring. I haven't watched the news, maybe other parts of Western Washington had bad weather.

Lanette, we had heavy rain and lightning when we got back to our hotel last night, but no hail, that I noticed. My mom got so aggravated by the weather reporting here when she was alive. She declared the weather too unpredictable to know what was going to happen from one hour to the next, nevermind from one day to the next. There are so many microclimates. I feel for the weather service. They have to try, but I don't know that they ever get it right. It does make it difficult to make weather dependent plans. We've got lucky this trip. I think we're going to have a great view from the Columbia Tower this afternoon.
Flea (picture from Wikipedia. It's not quite that blue out there yet this morning.)

Lanette - that same account (login.gov) is now the only access to VA healthcare. It was also the only way to submit government grants when I was still doing that. Which meant it was easy for me when I went into social security, and now anything I have to do with the VA. While it makes sense, I am wary of the establishment of a single gateway, as it can also become an electronic roadblock to all these things if it stops working correctly. I'm not wary of the technology itself, just that if humans maintain it, other humans can also hack it, and that pushing this many people through one gate has been known to be an issue, historically. Can't change it, though, so I just keep using it.
I am… reminded of the "better done than perfect" that we say a lot on this thread. Weeding flower beds always reminds me of that. I ran out of juice after about an hour, but all things considered, I was pretty pleased.
I also planted one clematis, two bleeding hearts and two cinnamon ferns. We'll see how they do! Also got all the hoses set up for the spring and summer. There's only one hose bib at this house, so we use a two-headed faucet fixture to be able to use the hoses in back and front of the house - but it also takes a lot of walking and a couple hundred feet of hose! Which is heavy as all get out. But it's also really good exercise… Got so sweaty I'm going to have to take a shower after I cool down and get some lunch in me.
Later, y'all,
Love,
Lisa in sunny Arkansas6 -
Belated best birthday wishes, dear Barbie!
Belated welcome @Shortyof2boyz Mary soon to be in the sunshine state. Sad to say, the strongest motivation I’ve gotten lately is the surprising death of a dear friend. She retreated from the world and became morbidly sedentary after her husband’s death, but no one was expecting her to die after her “procedure.” Learning of this, Joe has been motivated to get up out of that damchair and walk at least twice a day. It was the kick in the pants I needed, to not use the weather as an excuse to wimp out on exercise class and line dancing. Hope you can find a happier motivator ;’{
Lisa had to laugh at your dismantling the un-co-operative project. Admire your restraint. I’d’ve been tempted to shred it, burn it and stomp on the ashes. That cardigan is stunning! I’d be afraid to add pockets, putting things in them might stretch out or distort your beautiful work. Gorgeous blossoms!
Carol, loved your “grass is not always greener” insight. What laser procedure? Lasix? Pressure reduction? Or?
Rebecca imho Taco Bell tacos can’t hold a candle to Jack in the Box tacos. Loved the pic of your Chief on the turquoise scooter. Safe travels!
Pip also your mint green one with the sidecar rocket. I remember when you had that. I was envious. It wouldn’t work here in the unpaved rural woods tho’
@shamac35153 in FL would you let us know what you’d like to be called?
Tracey I’m hoping you and Rodger can do some fun things this summer, too!
Mo con VERY grats on too-big scrubs! Like you, sewing is not my gift. Beginning even before the sewing part, the one time I cut out fabric, the pattern went up the front and down the back of the blouse. For the ash pile.
Heather love how you describe your DIL. Joe doesn’t welcome visitors so we repurposed our spare rooms into his man cave and my study. Thanks for the blooming pics ;)
Margaret what you’ve said about cortisol, the microbiome, and doing our own research. Yes this.
Machka there are so many stressors in your life that are beyond your control, your bicycling, stairclimbing, walks, coloring, photography and gardening (temporarily sans mattock) are inspiring! Sleep sweet.
Allie 69.8 lbs? WOW!
Barbie and Lanette, Joe uses the dogs as excuses why he can’t go anywhere when’ I’m not home. Sadly that meant an end to our road trips together, but they’re worth it.
Rita hoping your new, young, female Dr works out well. My Joe doesn’t really listen to women, advice has to come from a trusted male to penetrate…
Beth Brava for 6+ days of recording intake.
Flea thanks for sharing those stunning views. Verizon welcomed you to Canada? Roaming or international charges?
Rori thankful for the green light to return to normal activities. Think of all the extra steps you’ll get offloading those 64 oz of water ;}
Ginny likewise thankful for the successful stress test. ((hugs))
Lanette imho they should really provide some kind of wearable pocket with those monitor phones, something you can strap to your arm or wear around your neck. Love Rosie!
Debbie love the pics of baby Jona, what cuties you both were. Belated Happy Birthday, Jonathan!
Tina “Quoting: I don't like that I can no longer delete out of the quote was does not apply to my reply.” Me neither! And Amen to being happy I don’t have to deal with Social Security’s huge mess right now.
Michele you certainly deserve a raise, but I’m afraid cutting your hours doesn’t bode well.
Kylia wow, just wow. Good for giving granddaughter feedback/guidance on the importance of communicating with employers. Love the juxtaposition “need to find an adult ballet class and a concealed carry course in the nearer future.” Attagal for being more adept than technical support.
Rosemarie some counties/cities have tool libraries that rent out equipment like spreaders. Brava for soldiering on despite your mothers initial, hurtful response.
Ah, Joy! Monday was able to take a long, luxurious shower, wash and condition my hair all in the safety and comfort of our own home. Joe monitored the pump Sunday night and Monday morning and the relay switch worked as it was supposed to, perhaps the sunny weather Sunday dried it out. Water guy showed up Monday morning too and was satisfied all was in order. He’ll “come back soon” with a special tool to clean out the water room pump, then Joe will tell him not to connect the big storage tank to our system, we’ll just keep it as a reserve. If he doesn’t have to trench and plumb, maybe he’ll have time for the rest of the upgrade, swapping out or replacing the rusty pressure tanks, removing all the stuff we don’t use or need, and making it easy for us to replace the UV filter. One fine day. . .
Stepping outside Monday it also smelt like Spring. Something’s blooming, hummingbirds are back, “O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!” Tuesday was warm and dry so after taking the dogs to the powerline meadow I puttered in the yard and garage for 2 hours. Swept out the old portable greenhouse shelving, tossed the shredded and mossy cover, and moved to the front porch where the sun is. Lined and filled two more hanging baskets with potting soil and set them out to be rain watered. Asked Joe to help me find a way to hang them on the rose arbor. At first he suggested attaching a board by drilling into the metal crossmember and screwing in cup hooks. But I was opposed to all that work. When I suggested wrapping some kind of chain around it, he found salvaged lengths of chain complete with little connectors that he cut to the right length and hung for me. Then when I discovered two the baskets had closed loops, not S hooks, he found some small S hooks in his “stuff I kept” collection. A satisfying “working together” project. ;) Wednesday was a little laundry, BB&B, line dancing, bank, post office, BiMart where furnace filters were on sale. Stopped in at the lab to postpone breast ultrasound as my phone calls had not been returned. All in prep for today’s “High Wind Event” south winds sustained 35-50 mph, gusting to 70 mph, expected down trees, power outages and difficult travel. This morning Joe built a fire in the wood stove (love waking up to the scent and warmth) because he knows there’s nothing better for drying out wet dogs . . . ;) Later today will do another load of laundry now that we have reliable water, and want to get ‘er done before any power outages. Strong motivation!
Later, lighter, lovelies!

Allie - Totally missed your little aside that you're down nearly 70 pounds! Had to go back to find it. Well done, my dear. Hope you're doing well today.
Love ya,
Lisa4 -
Carol- glad the procedure really helped your eyes.
I am pretty sure he will donate his again. I don't know about herLynette- I got more things planted in my little greenhouse yesterday.
The weather is CRAZY- 83, 85, then rain yesterday and today(cooler, windy and light rain). The two hot days were too hot to work in the green house. It got so hot in there that the covers on the trays of seed starts warped. Need to watch it closer and open it up when it gets warm. I thought the thermometer was broken-was all the way to 120, so I bought a new one. Put the old one in the yard. It is working fine. I have planted at least a dozen kinds of tomatoes. Need to go through my seeds to see what else I can plant. Too early for cucumbers and I got pretty much everything else that gets started early already planted. May plant more of what I already planted. Like more catnip. Never can have too much- like to share it.Rebecca- I would love to be up there. I have family and friends that live around there- Lake Stevens, Mt Vernon, Snohomish. That was our last road trip destination. Thankfully we did do it. My aunt passed away not long after that visit. It is so pretty up there.
Trying to catch up but only have 15 min before I head over to walk the wetlands and get Ezie from school.

Did a body pump DVD. I need to get back in my routine, I totally forgot to wear my bathing suit. See, I couldn’t use the pool in FL so I’m out of the habit. (this was probably a blessing in disguise)
Supposed to go to the dermatologist. Hope I can go in the pool. Update: not for a few weeks
The plan for tomorrow is to do the stairstepper (didn’t do that in FL since I don’t like that Y’s stairstepper)
Rosemarie – I bought my spreader at the Salvation Army for $16
Came home after exercise. Got dinner ready to microwave then went to the Salvation Army Then to the dermatologist. The cyst I had taken care of before I went to FL was fine. He did get out more from the cyst under my arm so I can’t go in the pool at the Y for at least a few weeks.
Ceramics tonight. This is the one evening they’re open now. From hearing second hand, it seems that they’re throwing a lot out so I want to get our stuff so they don’t throw that out. Vince isn’t feeling well, Dr. Google has him convinced that he has a viral infection. Who knows? As usual, the world is coming to an end, but what else is new?

Heather-Thanks for sharing the bloom photos! They are beautiful.
Today is baseball opening day! We are actually leaving the house to do something social. We are going to a new pub to watch the game and have lunch.
To those of you who've been to or live in Ireland, I am planning a trip there. What are your favorite places to see/visit. Anything we should not miss?

😀 Barbara Thank you for the birthday wishes. I have never made a big deal about my birthday. Jake always wanted to take me out to eat for my birthday, but if we went out, it was mostly for him. A local friend had invited me to her house for lunch since I told her that going to a restaurant wouldn't work for me. She said it would be quiet in her driveway for Annie to stay in the car and she could fix a simple lunch for us. Then she cancelled because her dog who had been ill on and off since December had worse symptoms and they had to take him to the vet that morning and she didn't want any other plans that day. As it turned out, they had to say good bye to their dog that day.

🌮 Somebody asked the question "Why does the food at Taco Bell taste so good?" I'm sure it was a rhetorical question, but I read a book that has the answer. The book is "Salt, Sugar, Fat—how the food giants hooked us" by Michael Moss. It tells how all the snack and fast food restaurant food was carefully designed to make you want to eat more.

Went to ceramics. As I thought, there was this one gal manning the place. Her comment to me was “how do I know if it was poured here”. Actually, I have a cat welcome sign and someone just told me to tell them that it was poured there, just a few years ago and they got rid of the mold since then. Sounds good to me.
Tina – our local farm team now has this rule that you have to have a clear bag and can’t have a pocketbook larger than something like 4” x 6”. I was talking to one gal who has season tickets and she said to just put any food I bring wrapped in a towel in the clear bag. See, I don’t like their food. Most everything is deep fried or else I really don’t care for it so in the past I’ve always brought my own food. So I guess this is how I’ll get around it.
Allie – take care of yourself, you want to be around for those precious kids
Took one of the cats to the vet. $60 later just to find out that he’s just fat. But at least we know it isn’t a tumor or something. Actually, one of the gals there who adopted something like 11 of the kittens that were found in the cemetery said that one of her cats is the same way. Just fat. My guess is that this cat is probably from the same litter as the one we got.
Afterwards went to Aldi. Tomorrow after the gym I’ll probably take a “rinse off the sweat ”shower and then go to WalMart
barbie – I’m so sorry for your friend. I’ve read the book “Salt, Sugar, Fat” and found it very enlightening
Off to bed. Nite everyone

Thanks Lanette- my hair is actually longer and a LOT more curly now- Have found products for my hair that keep the curls curly but not crunchy.
No wetlands walk today- I stared out and it was just a mist so was going to walk anyway. Got to the entry gate and it was starting to come down a bit more so walked back to my car and changed to my rain coat(not as warm but would keep me dry. Walked back to the gate and the wind and rain picked up and I decided NOPE- I would have been ok if I had rain pants and rain boots but I didn't have them. The rain was coming in sideways so I went back and sat in the car and waited for her to get out of school. Son took care of the dog again tonight. I am thinking he will be doing it most nights from now on. They came here just to pick up dinner and then went back over to the house. He will be home to sleep but that is it.

Hello everyone;
I have a load going in the wash and a load in the dryer. I just finished my book and am starting another. I work one more stretch, and then I am off for vacation. I will see if I can do something to get started exercising so I can be ready for the 5K in mid-April. I had an idea for a book based on a dream. I should have written it down. Now, I can not remember it. DH is flying into Jackson, MS, on Wednesday. I need to take the comforter to the laundromat before he comes home. Rose has been sleeping in the bed with me.
Lanette, I wanted to be an attorney if I wasn't a nurse or a school teacher. I wanted to do something that helps people. I love animals but hate seeing them suffer, so being a vet was out. I love your Rosie, by the way. Rosie looks like she is a character.
Flea, seeing the space needle is on my "Bucket List." It is up there with learning to ski and going snowshoeing.
Lisa, I love the colors and the design of your cardigan. You are so creative.
Debbie, You have beautiful hair. I would love to visualize the "Wetlands" you talk about and the dog you walk.
Tracey, did you get your car fixed? I hope it isn't expensive.
It is time to go back to work. I slept and read my whole time off, but at least I saw my mom. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and I look forward to hearing how you all are doing. Lynn, I hope all is well with you. Lanette, The above picture and statement were very funny.

Well folks, yesterday was a day!
This was to be my first journey on a train for 18 months. And away from Hove. I could see on my app that there were problems on the journey, but it looked like the trains were still running but delayed. The reason was 'animals on the line'. Apparently, it was swans. When I got to the station, my train was cancelled, so I got an earlier one, with the idea of changing. (Told so by the station staff) Halfway along, we were told to get out, because there was no driver to continue, (delayed by the swans). Found a train going another stop. Then changed for one going another few stops. Then waited half an hour for a promised train, which ended up cancelled because of a new points failure! Points, signals, failing everywhere!
I rang my friend G, who was on the bus on her way to meet me at Portsmouth Harbour Station. She got off, and got a bus back to her house to pick up the car to come and get me. This took forever, during which time I sat in the station with a packet of crisps and a cup of tea. Eventually she arrived, and told me that, in her fluster on the bus, she had left her wallet on the bus seat, with all her cards, drivers licence, bus pass etc in it. Hopefully, someone nice will hand it in, (the bus was full of pensioners), but she had to contact the bus company and freeze the cards. She was very upset.
In the end, the restaurant was great, and we both relaxed and calmed down. We had read on their website thst we should get free drinks, but we had just missed the qualifying days. G asked if they could possibly make an exception for a loyal customer, and they brought us each a glass of very nice prosecco. 😃 We were only having the cheap lunch! Food very good for the price.
Phew! 🤪
The journey back was normal, as they had got everything sorted by 3.30 pm. I sat next to a very nice woman who had been looking after her best friend's daughter. The best friend had died 6 weeks ago, in a routine operation to fit a stent. (There's a hospital enquiry.) Then that woman's daughter died, so the girl she was looking after had lost her mother and sister close together. The girl was just packing to go on a much needed holiday, when she fell downstairs with her two year old in her arms and broke both ankles! So, we had an interesting chat!
When we got to Hove I just threw myself into a taxi! John welcomed me with a delicious bowl of chicken stew. Just the job. I dropped off on the sofa, and went to bed early.
Rebecca - I hope your journey goes more smoothly than mine. Best wishes!
Flea - What a gorgeous holiday! I would love to visit that part of the world. Nowdays, I would need to go on an escorted tour, but it's on my bucket list. Lucky you people who live there!🤩
Allie - sending hugs!
Debbie - love the photos. Are you missing your son? It's quite a change after all these years.

Heather - That's quite a trip! I always tell Corey how much I loved public transportation when I lived in the UK, but I genuinely never remember a train being cancelled. Glad you had a good lunch with your friend, hope someone turned in her wallet.
Mo - I hope your last stretch before time off is stress-free and gets you to vacation rested and enjoying every minute.
All the yard work left me unable to find a position that didn't hurt last night, or at least it seemed like it. Never got to that restful, deep sleep. But… all night's can't be good, and mine are so much better these last few months. So grateful to even be able to stay in bed all night without getting up two or three times.
More yard work today, and possibly window washing. Ranks right up there with floors as least favorite chore, but it's badly needed. Whoops, nope, checked the weather forecast, windy and rainy. But I could do the insides…. At least that's what I'm telling myself, anyway!
Onward and upward kids,
Love y'all,

Hello from Nebraska where I am not sure what season it is. We have had 2 big snow storms that have shut down roads and everything else. It was in the 80's yesterday and will be again today and then rain and snow over the weekend. I am not sure where the month went as been spacing off a lot. Time to put my big girl panties on the get with it. I have read and up to date.
Macha—I remember when your husband had his accident. You have come a long way and I do believe he is where he is because of you. He is Blessed to have you.
I have been on several interviews. Once they find out I was at the hospital for 37 years and limits what I know. I have an interview this coming Monday at the county court to record clerk. It would be something I can do and I do think it would be interesting. I keep looking.
Allie—So glad you got your new kidney. Please take care of yourself.
Lisa—love the new jacket. You are talented in so many things. Your new bathroom looks very nice.
Penny—Good to see you posting and love the pictures.
Barbie—Grief is different for each of us, I so admire how well you are doing and taking it slow.
Rori—How scary. Glad all your tests came back well.
Kylia- I understand how you are feeling. I have been having some deep thoughts about where I am and where I want to be. Then I just space off as over whelmed.
Betsy—HUGS!!
DH went back to work half days this week. So far it is going well and I am using that to make myself get up, get dressed and do something. Now to stop the snacking. My weight is up and need to get a handle on it.

New doctor was great! Already, since we’ve seen her, I’ve gotten my medications renewed, a new long term asthma med ordered and chest x-rays (lung to verify asthma) done and read, all done in 2 days! The old crazy doc took weeks to get any one of those things! I’ve very happy and satisfied. I didn’t realize how bad the doc I was seeing had gotten over the years. DH likes her too, until the next visit (hahaha). In 2 weeks we go back for yearly physical, which we haven’t had in over 9 years!
Yesterday was therapist, dentist (6 month cleaning), then x-rays right after. I stopped in Walgreens for a couple things before the x-rays as all 3 of these things were within 1/2 mile of each other. I like that, makes it easy to double up the doctors. Before all of that, I treated myself to a Dunkin Donut Pistachio coffee with cream and stevia. I deserved it after these past 2 days! It was so goood! I drank it while in therapy, my doc was pleased I treated myself. No issues at dentist, and X-ray came back clear, so doc called already this morning to tell me she ordered the Advair to help with my asthma. Ever since January when I was so sick with the lung infection, I’ve been having breathing issues. The crazy doc had prescribed me a nebulizer which I’ve had to use every day for 3 or 4 times for the last 3 weeks which my new doc says is too much so added the Advair to see if that helps. I hope it does. An inhaler is a lot easier than the nebulizer!
Quiet day today, I need to walk the campground and do a little cleaning in the camper. My back has been acting up so, I need to get back to my Yoga/back exercises to loosen it up. Oh, yes, I forgot to say this new doc only orders blood work once a year (instead of every 3 months like last doc) unless there is an issue with something. Another thing DH is happy about. I didn’t mind the constant bloodwork as it kept a close eye on my food choices.
Thought for today:
Why do teachers always drop hints?

We are wonder women!

Well ladies I made it! It was a long tiring day of bus travel yesterday. Started at 11:45 am from Mt. Vernon to Seattle King Street Station. Then fairly quickly got on another express bus to Portland, then waited a good hour or so at Portland's train station for a small tour bus that went to Albany. Got into Albany at about 8:40 so 9 hours of sitting, zoning and waiting. I was able to connect at Portland with my tablet but there was no internet on buses so my sister was kind of beside herself worrying because I was an hour late. I wasn't able to bring our Tracfone because husband has been having problems getting into his emails, having him log in with a confirmation code etc. So traveling without a phone was unsettling mostly for my sister not knowing. I could tell she was a little upset about it all. Next time for others peace of mind, I will get another Tracfone for me just for these occasions.
I had made myself 2 eggs over easy with a piece of toast yesterday morning, and I was glad I did, as of course there was no actual food on the buses. They were providing water and a "snack box" which seemed to be brownie bark, almonds, a beef stick, and other processed things. I decided against it, because my stomach was a bit travel stressed anyways.
This morning I was having fun rough housing with Tucker, my sisters bernese mountain dog. He got kinda "mouthy" and one of his teeth traded my forearm. He didn't mean it, but I put some antibiotic cream on it, and gave it a pretty bandaid because it was bleeding a wee bit. Last night while my sister was taking a shower, Tucker and I cuddled on the couch. Because I don't have pets, its just special to visit. He crawled up on the couch and just kind of fell into my side, his huge head in my lap🙃😁💖.
Sister is taking Tucker to doggy day care now, and I am munching on a lovely blueberry scone with my coffee.💖
She had some changes in her livingroom. She put up pretty wallpaper, and mirror and has marked off where a shelf will be going.
Then she repainted a hutch to go with her green chair. I think it used to be white.
She is an artist, so her home is decorated with so much attention to detail. For me, coming from my home which isn't really decorated at all, its a feast for my eyes. So many things, but each pretty.
Two photos of her bathroom pretties.💖😁
Enjoy the day everyone!

Rebecca ~ Glad you made the trip to your sister's safely. That must have been very stressful travel wise. Love her wall paper and all the things she has done to her home. She is an artist and you are an opera singer…so much talent!
Vicki ~ Good to hear from you! Glad your husband is able to go back to work half days and pray you get the clerk's job as I know it will make you happy!
Barbie ~ Enjoy your turkey! I am a strange person who doesn't really like turkey unless it's in a sandwich.
I had the steroid shot in my hip yesterday and I can't see a significant change in my knee but my hip pain is less. It just seems like I have nerve damage because my knee keeps twitching involuntarily. May have to follow up in two weeks for low back problems.

Mo, here are just a few pictures from the wetlands. LOVE seeing the swans. This is from last year. They should be nesting soon,if they haven't already. Early last spring, I counted 22 swans in one pond. Since then, the most I have seen is 5(same with the Canada geese-there were tons last spring but very few so far this spring)
There are small ponds/lagoons and the Napa River on the side of it. With the tides changing and the weather changing, it is always a bit different.Low tide brings all the little water birds- three kinds of sand pipers, stilts, killdeer, avocet and so many more. I love the Least Sandpipers. thousands of them and they are the size of a baby chick.
Kobe is a medium size dark brown chihuahua/terrier mix we think- very short hair.
