So...I do really good, for the most part, of logging in ALL my foods during the week. It's easy cause I am at work and I have discipline to do it. However, I fall out of the wagon on the weekends. I get too busy with my family and just don't even think about it. I do watch what I eat but I don't log it in. Any suggestions?

me too :( most of the time it's because it's when my bf is off work and wants to go out to eat/movies and the food simply isn't in the database to even get an accurate read of what i've eaten :(

ME too!!!! I was just thinking this! so bad my when my hubby is home! I am going to just have to accept it and have portion control I think.
  • me toooooo.... I blame my husband... he loves his nibbles, crisps, dips even veg to dip... but once I start, I just can't stop!

Luckily for me I am on maintenance, but feel I binge all weekend and spend all week repairing the damage ready for the next onslaught!!

Glad its not only me! :-)

Weekends for me suck. I am supposed to take a break from my meds on weekends (for ADHD but they also help keep my apetite at bay) so weekends usually mean (before I started exercising) constant hunger + sitting at home = binge eating sugary foods. Since I started exercising I've been trying not to binge eat and for the two weeks before my TOM I was exercising through most of the weekend, this past weekend I didnt feel up to it but I didn't binge eat either- I got a migraine though, I'm not sure if it was from sugar with drawl or what but omg it was awful..

Sorry I didn't read the whole thing. This past weekend was my first one since starting MFP, I had an issue too cuz I was like omg what all did I eat as I too am at home and didn't feel like getting on the computer, however I have a plan for next weekend. Write the foods down on a note that will come with me to work or in my itouch or as a note in my phone etc. this way I don't have to sit here all morning trying my bum off to remember

Oh good, then it'snot only me. I don't binge but I just don't count...lol...I love to have homemade chips and salsa while watching football and the occasional margarita and I just don't want to log it in....lol...Yes portion control...lol

the thing is this portion control and moderation! if you remember those things on the weekend then it will be okay to not log! we cant LOG the rest of our lives!

I allow myself one "cheat" meal per week. I save it for the weekends becasue I know we always go out to eat. My hubby understands that other than that one meal, I'm sticking to my diet.

I do that purposely. I don't log, but I don't binge either. I just take a few days off from MFPing, that's all.

I try to stick with the logging through the weekends, but it's hard if you go out to eat. I just try to estimate as close as I can and assume whatever I ate is higher calories than what I've found in the data base.
