Anybody in week 5 of C25K?
I did day one of week 5 on Saturday and while I made it through without trouble I can feel myself waning in motivation. I'm supposed to run Monday (tomorrow) just posting it here so that maybe I can feel like I have to hold myself to it since I said it out loud.

Well I signed up for a 5k the first week of November and wasn't really training for it, but realized I probably should. I've been working out but not running. I think I will start week 5 tomorrow b/c that gets me to the end by my 5k. You can add me if you want. Keep it up!0

Next time I run it'll be W4D2, and D1 killed me! I have the motivation, but W4D1 made me start doubting myself since it was so hard. But - I'm going to keep going and so should you! Quitting is no fun...0

Sorry I had to take a week of keeping track of myfitness due to my children and I being heavily involved in a local play. I started back with week 5 right where I left off and was ok. I was afraid of the 20 minute run on day 3 of week 5 but I made it through yesterday and I didn't fall apart. I did my run along some shorter blocks in my neighborhood and it helped me to be able to say, "...ok just to the end of this next turn..." and then I would just say "...ok I did that so now I will go to the next turn and if I can't do it anymore I will stop," but I always seemed to have just enough left for one more. I don't think I would have made it on a large track or on a very straight road.0

Just finished week 5 on friday. I start week 6 tomorrow.
I have to agree with nicksolomon - if someone would have told me I would be running 20 minutes at a time at week 1, I would have been like yea right this is never gonna happen i won't get that far.... and i totally did it
I'm a little intimidated by 25 minute runs but I figure if I can pull 20 - I can definitely push myself for another 5 minutes. My biggest downfall was wanting to look at how much time was remaining - I do so much better if I just run and pay no attention to it Lol!0 -

By now it's must feel addicting, no?? But then again it took two months to successfully get to week 5. I start week 7 tomorrow and I can not wait!! It's starting to feel like a sickness!!! LOL0 -

Don't look, change your path or what your listening too. Vary it a little. YOU CAN DO THIS!! Lord knows, if I can....anyone can!!!0 -
I have day 3 of week six on friday and that's the first 25 minute run. I'm actually quite excited for it. I was more afraid for the 20 minute run last week but it was so much easier than I thought it would be. (I had visions of puking on the side of the road so while it wasn't easy it wasn't anything I couldn't handle either)
I'm running a 5k on Thanksgiving day. That's my goal and there's one nearby that the entry fee is just some nonperishables for the food bank so it's also going to be for a good cause. I need to look and see if there's a 1k walk/run for my kids to do too. I think it would be a good experience for all of us. And then I won't have to feel too guilty later that day when we have our "Big Meal"0 -
I'm doing week four now and I have to say I am a little nervous about week 50

Yes, I'm on week 5 too. Tonight I will be doing the dreaded day 3. (20 minute run). I'm a bit worried I wont be able to go that long but excited to find out.
Don't give up! Look back at how far you've come already. You can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those who posted here I hope you are still doing it. I am on week 8 workout 3 tomorrow and then I only have 3 more workouts. I'm proud of myself and I'm here to say that you can do it. It's getting cold here but I find I don't need gloves or too many layers to run, the warm up walk I'm a bit cool but by about minute 3 of the run my blood is pumping fast enough that I'm warm all over.0
