Pancreatitis - meal inspiration needed!

I need some inspiration for low fat and dairy free meals; literally only allowed 6 teas of fat per day - including naturally occurring ones like egg yolks, salmon etc. I’ve been doing OK, but I get hungry. Lots of smoothies for breakfast, so much chicken I’ll grow feathers…. Can’t have coconut, almond or oat milk.

Look into whole food plant based. Lots of vegan dishes should fit what you need.

Yes, I have the same issue, mIne is failing after alcoholism so theres no going back for me Im afraid. None the less I live very well on a plant-based diet and found a good plant protein. As protein comes from the plants the animals eat its a win win, because im getting it first hand. Pease, lentils, beans, tofu seitan, tempeh, so many online recipes. Youll feel much fuller and have less fat issues. Im sad ive had to give up so many things, but have found a new joy in cooking. I created a lentil stroganoff that is amazing and has silken tofu blended in instead of the sour cream, so its also creamy and no fat. Trust that you will find your way and by looking after yourself, you will have less pain and flare ups. All the best and message if you want some ideas.

I’m so sorry you’re living with that. It is the absolute worst. When I had it, I learned to sauté vegetables in water which work well surprisingly. I ate lots of cornflakes in skim milk, stir frys with a small amount of very lean protein , and lentil soup. Hope this helps and you get past it. (Mine turned out to be a tumor blocking my bile duct. Better now.)
