How am i supposed to bulk properly?

Hi, good for you for deciding to get into bodybuilding.
Since you're just starting out, I would say take it slow and don't pressure yourself to do everything perfectly or to optimize every damn thing.
Start with the basics. Make a small change and give it a chance before changing it up. You can always tweak things later.
Let the app guide you. Enter your stats and a modest goal to gain like 1-2 lbs of muscle a month.
As a newbie, honestly you could probably do well just by eating how you normally do but throw in an extra portion of protein every day (beans, meat, egg) or a protein shake after your workout.
Everyone and their mom will give you advice here. And it can quickly feel overwhelming. But if you get in the habit of tracking all your meals, snacks, drinks and exercise, the data will help you sort out the good advice from the nonsense.
And document your journey with progress photos every month. You don't have to show them to anyone. But you will 100% be glad you did it.

Find a routine you can stick with. You need to be faithful to your frequency.
