I'm a little disappointed in the static weight. I've been trying to be really mindful. But I must remember that this takes a bit of time.

Wow! I'm hopping in here a week into April to try to join this challenge. There are 3 more weeks of April and my goal is to lose 3-6lbs.

    April Start Weight: 165lbs
    April Goal Weight: 159lbs
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 120lbs

I just learned today that I'm officially obese :(. I'm 47 years old and have 3 young children and a very busy household. We cook most meals at home but I have a HUGE sweet tooth and sometimes crave very processed salty snacks and love my daily glass of wine.

My goal this month is to meal prep on Sundays and stick to my meals.

    April 9: 165 lbs

Total loss for April: Still up for the month, but down a half from last week. I'll take that as a very very tiny victory.

    Keep sticking to it.

I fully expected a gain this week. I was getting fatigued with calorie counting and the sheer level of exercise I had been doing. It was beginning to affect my mental health so I took the week off and mostly just rested and ate what I felt like eating. I'm 106 days into my current journey.

    04/01 -- DNW (Trend Weight – DNW)

04/07 – 193.2 (Trend Weight – 194.9) We have experienced the storm of the century in Northern Michigan. I was 17 days with no heat and 5 days with no power. I finally had to break down and go to a hotel quite far from my area as it hit our whole multi-county region. It’s been horrible and expensive. All restaurant food for multiple meals per day. Bad snacks in hotel. I am very surprised that my weight has not gone way up and is actually down from the start. I think it’s just my nerves. The cleanup to our community will be horrendous. Many will be without power for over a month! Power surge blew out several things in my house including double wall ovens worth over 4000.00 I’m not sure how we will get through this. It’s just me and my autistic son and I’m a widow with no help and many health problems. Now that I’m home I will try to focus on my meals more. Doing what I can in the yard will help burn some calories too. We will see how this all pans out. Prayers please for my family and my community.

🐰 🐰 🐰 🐰 🐰 04/14 – 196.6 ❌ (Trend Weight – 195.5) I was able to have the double ovens fixed instead of replaced so that was good. Everyday my focus has been to get the yards cleaned up after the horrendous storm. I do have my power back but many do not and they are still saying it will be at least a month before it’s restored for many. Yards still look like Armeggedon but we are working on them daily. I’ve had no time to prep cook or even take much care with food choices. Lots of fast food or high sodium TV dinners as I continue to work on this mess. Things will settle down sooner or later. I’m not giving up. I just need a pause to take care of this emergency situation.

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
