    So sorry about Brownie.

One of my aunts had a little dog like Brownie - cute and inquisitive.

Allie That can be a side effect from all the antibiotics you have had to be on. Once you are done with them look into what you can do to rebuild your gut Microbiome back to health.

Lanette the wheat in the USA was breed to be short and have more gluten this was before GMO that is why they can label it GMO free. (1920's) The extra gluten does make bread products more doughy. Unfortunately gluten is not an easy compound to digest hence the problems many of population suffers as a result. It can cause inflammation throughout the body. It will have a different effect on each individual. For some it will be obvious in aggravating Crohn's disease. Others like me it affects me mentally and my mood.

It is for this reason I have greatly reduce my consumption of anything containing wheat. I am able to handle a small amount …an occasional piece of home made pie (usually a half), soup thickened with wheat. I forgo doughnuts, cookies, cake, crackers, pancakes(occasional ones made at home from oat flour). Adopting this way of eating I feel and look better. BP last night was 111/74 pulse 68 without any medication. Weight this morning 157 lost the two pound travel weight within my 3 pound maintenance weight for my 5 foot 7 inch frame. I go for physical this week and will be interested in how it has affected my blood work.

At times it is hard to forgo what is considered by many as treats. It took me about six months to get where I am. I did eat some gluten free products to help me make the change. Now I am very selective about what treats I will allow myself and I enjoy them more when I do have them. Most of the time when I am faced with them I feel no temptation to indulge. I think about how I felt and looked after eating too many of them. I think I no longer want to help the big food companies get richer. Some of these were bought out by the tobacco industry when they were called on the carpet and their pocketbooks for getting people addicted to cigarettes. Now they are doing it to food for profit. Remembering this stops me cold from reaching for a high processed food be it gluten free or not! There is a reason why it is so hard to eliminate processed food out of your diet. For me knowledge was the power I needed to make the change.

Lisa - What a marketing choice a small piece of "heavy equipment" called "Bad Boy" made me smile… It looks like a really handy piece of equipment for your property.
