Ready to lose... and run

Over the last few weeks I have trained for a five mile race that I ran last week. I found that I have been eating a lot more since I started training so I didn't lose any weight... My shape has change slightly but I would like to get off the pounds as well. Would like to lose 24 pounds or so.... I have to have a reason to exercise so I have a race set for just about every month... Oct 22, Nov 24, Jan 7 to keep me focused. Also I am taking 2 dance classes, tap and ballet.

In order to lose you'll need to not eat back all of your calories from running. You may also want to add in some weight training in order to shape your body. Open your diary by going to Settings > Diary Settings > Diary Sharing and change it to Public...that way we can offer more help based on what you're eating.0

I stopped losing after running for a few months. Now I have added 30 Day Shred video to my routine. Run at lunch, video at night - I also do 2 core classes a week. I am eating 1500 calories a day. Weight is slowly starting to come off again. GL!0

replace running with sprint intervals and you will probably see the weight drop....and body change.0

Thanks... thats actually how I statred my training... because I had no cardio endurance. I will have to add that back in. :happy:0

I totally need to change my eating habits (you don't even want to know....) Its the main reason I joined this site. I was on Weight Watchers before and am going to go back to that "concept" ... I wrote down what I ate yesterday... and that did it. I couldn't believe what I was eating... it was a real wake up call.... that I don't think I want to share ...lol.:embarassed:0
