Ginny - Ah, your brother and SIL thinking of moving to your retirement community makes better sense than looking for another house and yard to take on. I think I was "mentally mowing" when I read through the posts yesterday, lol.

Glad you got your shower in, what a great feeling. Good job not checking up on work. 😁 Relax and recover!

I hopped on the mower after lunch yesterday and got the whole place done plus some pruning. Need to prune back some other bushes, weed-eat, then rake up the grass. Looks like I have the rest of the week to get after all this weather-wise. Will probably be mowing again Friday or Saturday.

Make it a fabulous week, ladies!😍

    MFP Weekly Check-In for April 14, 2025

Rita in Roswell NM - Lost 2 pounds this week to make up for last week. Part of it was colitis so I hope it stays gone. Average steps last week were 3,835, I know I can do better than that, but it’s been a hard week last week. Stand 11 hrs a day, move 375 calories a day, walking 2.3 miles a day, (I need to up that to at least 3), and exercise average of 27 minutes a day (that needs to be at least 30 minutes). Not really bad but a lot of room for improvement.

Debbie in Napa Valley CA - pretty much the same as last week- up .2 this morning. Won't be walking the wetlands this week. Daycare girl is on spring break. I will take her with me to walk the dog.

Barbara on the Southern Oregon Coast - Weekly average WT up to 133.2 from last week's 132.9.  No time to tally steps, AF etc.  Gorgeous weather but have I been gardening?  Nope, in a baking frenzy tried my hand at hot cross buns for the first time.  Need to channel my inner Lisa to wrap my head around how to schedule dough rising to coordinate with my energy levels...

Lanette in SW WA State – weight 164.5, trending back down. Step average 8318, up from last week. Total activity minutes 265. Doing PT exercises, house walking with weight again, with modified light Farmer’s carry - OK per physical therapist. Was able to get busy doing outside chores – mowing, pruning, weed eating.

I need to try this. I have never added egg to mine. Sounds great and love the trick to cut out the shape of the egg

Pamiede - Wow! That's a lot to be dealing with. Here's hoping things get better from now on. 💕

Tracey - usually, I've drunk quite a bit when it all comes flooding out. Often on holiday, or cruises. We have had some pretty spectacular spats at restaurants on holiday. Several times, in the past, we've argued about this thread! Not recently though. 😉 One good thing about my susceptibility to UTIs is that I can't drink a lot anymore. 🤣 Great poem!

Pip - So sorry about Yogi's lump. Let's hope it is slow growing. Sometimes, like people, the older you are, the less quickly they grow.

Rebecca - What a business about your son. Thank goodness he has such a great mum.💖

I may have forgotten someone, but I am reading carefully. Love to you too.

Girls today after their art class. I'll be smashing some avocados for Edie and me. I'm going to try and fool them with the wooden eggs. They are in an egg carton, and look exactly like real eggs. 😜

Love to all, Heather UK xxxxxxxx

    Good Tuesday!

Ginny- My schedule wears me out! This is especially true in April and May. Great job on leaving work stuffs off.

Work notice in Ohio- It is considered courteous to give two weeks notice, but depending on job, not required. I have always given 2 week notice with one exception. New owner at flower shop. He had me crying at end of first day and by lunch second day. I left at lunch and never went back. Fast forward 15 years later, he recognizes me at our shop. He told me he remembered I was a great worker, but then I wasn't there. Seriously! Lol!

&Juliet was fabulous! It was the shortest 2.5 hours I have spent in a theater.

    Welcomes!

    Hugs!

    Healing thoughts!

Must get some things done before work.

Make the best choices you can in the moment!

    Love to all,

    Kylia in Ohio
