Why are there no foods in the database?

I'm trying to log my food for today (via the website, on a computer). No matter what food I search for—potato, chicken, egg, green beans—instead of a list of foods, I just get a message saying "no results found" in the database. Is this intentional?

Same problem here. I am able to add food from my previous entries. To add food not in my recent entries I had to click on the database option on the menu bar under food and then pick which meal I wanted to add it to. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.
