Halloween costume sizes (women)

I tried on some costumes yesterday. I still have no idea what I'm going to be but I want something sexy and cute.
I have a cop one that I LOVE and wore 2 times already previous years but it no longer fits. It's a size 1x I believe.

Yesterday I tried on XL, Lg and 2 Med/Lg. They all fit but the Med/Lg were a bit snug but that wasn't even the problem! My butt was literally hanging out. Granted, the ones I tried on were pretty slutty but I'm also 5'9 and my hips are like WHOA. I'd definately be more comfortable in a Lg.
The plus sizes no longer fit (unless it ran small, I suppose).

Sooo, has anybody found a brand (like Leg Avenue or Dreamgirl) that was true to size. I LOVE this sexy senorita one that is like a mariachi type of costume but the reviews say it runs way small and that the XL is like a medium.



And just for fun.. What should I be? Look at my picture and tell me. :flowerforyou: These aren't very creative at all but just what I like.
