iOS: food database messed up again?

Gosh, has MFP messed with the food database again? With the iOS app I get very few raw produce that I used to use all the time. Even adding raw or USDA (yeah, I know it's not the original USDA stuff) just yields meals including those. Like today I searched for green beans, which I eat quite regularly. I got masses of stuff like green beans in tomato sauce, pickled, with meatballs, etc. But no raw green beans. haricot verts also yielded nothing. Had exactly the same problem with red chili peppers that I log regularly. It's just gone and instead I get lots of meals with those in the name. When I logged in browser all was fine.

On android it still gives results just fine. I think IOS tends to be super glitchy with any apps that were specifically planned and catered to IOS. Maybe try the website.

IOS user here - I updated my version (18.3.2) and seems to have fixed itself. Maybe it was temporary? (It does seem like the IOS app could use more love though..)

Hmm yeah, maybe I should update the app. Obviously, I still find anything in browser. It's just annoying as I don't bring my computer into the kitchen.

I love the green tick on the entry for 1 haricot at 2 calories! 🤣

How many people counted their beans before deciding on the calorie value? Were they large or small beans? 🤔

Haha, yes! There's so much rubbish in the database. 😂
