Why am I not losing weight?

You're definitely not alone… Even when you’re “sticking to your calories,” little things can quietly tip you into a surplus.
Here are some common examples that can add up fast:
- A “light” drizzle of olive oil in the pan? Could be 1.5 tbsp = 180 kcal, not the 1 tsp = 40 kcal you thought.
- Two pumps of creamer in your coffee instead of one? That’s easily 70–100 kcal depending on the brand.
- A handful of cashews? That’s often 25–30 nuts = 250+ kcal, while a true serving is 12–14 nuts at around 160 kcal.
- Even a tablespoon of peanut butter can turn into 1.5–2 heaping tablespoons = 250+ kcal if you’re not weighing it.
Now multiply a few of those by 25 days and you could unintentionally be eating an extra 2,000–3,000 calories, which is close to a full pound of fat gained. That’s why accuracy—especially with calorie-dense foods—matters way more than it seems.
It’s also possible your estimated TDEE is a bit high. Many calculators overshoot, especially if activity is inconsistent or measured optimistically.
You’re doing the hard part by being consistent. Now it’s just time to fine-tune the details. Once you do, the progress will show up.

It could also be the type of foods you are eating that is a part of it you can eat small meals of unhealthy items and still do calorie goal. This is one thing I am working with a doctor on to try to choose best foods with good fats, getting my carbs from vegetables instead of bread and pasta. That sort of thing. I am back on this journey and taking a different approach this time and just making a life style switch, not a diet per say I did this before and lost 99 lbs but a new husband that wanted food I was restricting and I finally gave up he is gone now for years and it’s time to get back on track Good luck in your endeavors and Icwish you luck!

Drink a gallon of ice water a day, eat healthy food using good sense, and move your a$s.
Stop counting calories, just eat healthy and move, move, move.
The stress you are putting yourself under trying to micro mange your macros is killing you.
Except when I was pregnant, my weight has not fluctuated more than 1.5-2lbs in the last 15 years, and I have never counted calories. I just use good sense, and I exercise every day. You can do it, its really not rocket surgery.

That may be your personal experience, but there are many people here (including me) who have the opposite experience. For me, counting calories has been the only successful way of losing weight. It won't necessarily be a good fit for everyone one, but stating how 'simple' weight-loss is and to just stop counting calories is not helpful.
There is also no indication that OP is micromanaging macros (although I do agree with the general idea that it is not necessary to micromanage macro intake).
And furthermore, 1 gallon of (ice) water per day is a huge amount, certainly not necessary for everyone - judging hydration based on urine color is a better way to go IMO (hydration needs vary hugely depending on the activity level, climate/weather… +individual differences e.g. how much someone sweats).

The gallon of water has little to do with hydration, it keeps the process working, it flushes the system, it burns calories (and it keeps you hydrated.) Losing weight is not easy, because of our human cravings and insecurities, but lets face it, we all know when we are eating too much, and we all know when we are not moving enough. It is will power and mental toughness until you get where you want to be, but when it becomes a lifestyle change it is not that difficult.
In my opinion, counting calories IS micromanaging the process and is unhealthy. This is my opinion, however, and I may be wrong. But I have seen it work for many people other than myself. The water alone can do so much more than people want to admit, in my experience and opinion.
Do whatever works, but if it is not working, do something different.

Thought is food you purchase. Possibly alcohol. And how much you drink. Sugar intake that is added to your food like sauces. I been putting on wait do to making meals for 2. But eating alone. I hate leftovers. You can try hot tea. With a spoon full of apple cider vinegar and honey. Before bed. Also I have seen virgin olive oil. Will help burn fat. If use of apple cider vinegar. Be careful it can cause teeth issues if you drinking to much of it. I am a apple cider vinegar and honey in my tea drinker. Don't give up and keep on sweating when working out. If your not sweating during work out. Than your not burning fat. Unless you're at that weight loss mark when you don't sweat. I was there when I was 160 pounds.
