    Heaviest weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Original MFP starting weight (January 2018): 168.2
    December 31, 2024 Weight: 158.0 (10-day average 157.2)
    March 29 (Starting Weight for this challenge): 159.2 (10-day average 157.3)
    April goal: Get below the top of maintenance weight range (153 pounds)
    Ultimate goal: Stay in maintenance range between (absolutely 140 - 153 and ideally 142-148)

    I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.

    March 29: 159.2 (10-day average 157.3)
    April 5: 158.0 (10-day average 158.7)
    April 12: 157.0 (10-day average 158.1)
    April 19: 153.4 (10-day average 155.3)
    April 26: 159.4 (10-day average 155.8)
    May 3:

    Total loss for April: A week of up and down; up a half pound for the week and still down 1.5 for the month. I'm down 1.4 miles for the year.

    Am I finally breaking out of this plateaue I've been in this month? I've started a more intense cardio (running short amounts, integrated with walking) but otherwise haven't changed anything else.

    This month has been really rough.

    β˜”οΈβ˜”οΈ04/28 – 192.6 βœ… (Trend Weight – 194.9) I’ve had the best week than I’ve had in a very long time. But I do choose to weigh also on the first and last day of every month for a full month loss. Unfortunately, I will be traveling out-of-town tomorrow for a major medical appointment and dinner will be out. This will affect my April 30th final weight for the month for sure. However, I am confident that I will still show a loss for April and that the travel weight will be temporary. I am wearing my first pair of spring Capris pants today and they fit (thankful for elastic waist on this pair!) but they are tight. I checked my stats for this time last year and I weighed in the 185 range so that explains it. I’ve got work to do. This week’s results are a very nice start!

    β˜”οΈβ˜”οΈ04/30 – 196.0 ❌ (Trend Weight – 194.8) A huge overnight jump due to travel. Dinner was at a steakhouse. I only ate half my meal and the only thing out of line was a milkshake I had on the way home. That caused a 3 Β½ pound increase overnight? What in the world have I done to my body and my metabolism over the years of dieting? Ridiculous! Back to square one.
