Finished 30 Day Shred - Now What?

Hi all
I finished the 30 day shred and have started it again after a gap but am seeing no change. I lost 10 lbs doing it and need to loose another 14lbs to my goal. I need to add that I was also training for a half marathon which I completed two weeks ago. Running alone and diet wasn't making much of an impact as I think my body was used to it but the 30 day shred seemed to give me a kick start,
I tried the "Loose Fat Burn Metabolism" by Jillian but I felt It wasn't enough after the 30 Day shred, I was able for it and I didnt feel particularly toned after it. It also didn't have enough 'arm' work.
So here I am after a two week break ready to start back into a new fitness regime. I am going for a faster 10k time for the winter months so I wont be out long in bad weather. What DVD can I couple it with? What will give me that kick coupled with the running to get rid of that last 14lbs for once and for all?

I was looking at Jillian's six week six pack, thought It would help alongside my 30 day shred...
It looks harsh, but if you want a challenge you could try that.
Maybe it only looked harsh to me though as I'm still a bit blobby. Lol. :bigsmile:0 -

I have been reading that if the 30 day shred has been completed and you don't really notice a difference I have seen i few people mention that they have moved onto Insanity or P90X.
These both can be bought on amazon but it all depends on how much money you are looking at spending as they are both pretty expensive , the links are below:

With the P90X you have to buy additional equipment to help you carry out the workouts.

It sounds like your body is getting used to your fitness regimen and finding an equillibrium. You need to coax it out of equillibrium once again. I recommend dipping your toes in resistance training. It will be a new stimulus for your body, so you should see a quick result.0

try Billy Blanks Bootcamp Cardio Sculpt with 2 or 3lbs dumbbells....now that's some serious toning right there, combined with cardio.0

Ripped in 30 is another Jillian Michaels DVD. it is a step up from the 30 Day Shred. Actually its probably 2 or 3 steps up..LOL I am on Week and it is crucial, but so worth it0

Sweet baby jeebus! I just looked at a you tube video of insanity! What an apt name! Good Lord I wouldnt be into that!! Im not mad into getting abs just getting rid of the last few pounds. Will check out the others now!0 -
I dont think I will try the 30 Shred for a while as I think my body is used to it.
Just looked at the Ripped in 30 and might go for that.
