is it considered more cardio or can I classify that as strength training?

I classify my pilates sessions as strength training. It's all core work and lots of upper body. Not necessarily cardio. I say, go with strength.0

If you're counting the calories though, it has to be entered under cardio. Just the way this site works!0

I agree!!! I take a pilates (non machine) class two days week, and still add cardio. You can get your calories burned on here if you type in pilates in the cardio section, if that's what you're looking for.0 -
I wanted to make sure I was getting balanced strength and not just doing cardio. Thanks for the advice yall!!0

Even though it burns calories I usually just count it as strength.0
