Fell off track

I fell off track yesterday with a very late dinner and it was Italian food so very heavy , with birthday cake after. I plan to be back on track today!

I figure the birthday track, which is a rare thing, is an entirely different track from the everyday track I repeat over and over. The birthday track is supposed to be different from the daily, and there's cake. 😋 That's true for anyone special's birthday, though I admit I don't have a big family, which helps with the rarity. YMMV.

Getting immediately back on the everyday track after birthdays is important, I agree about that. 😉

I would simply call it a cheat day and forget about it! Nobody can be perfect 100% of the time 😉

    Happy belated birthday Jadu1536 🥂

Meeting track - I do lots of volountary work and a lot of meetings involve snack food and wine - bread - cheese - olives - Just a note for myself, hard to manage but I want to help

same here. I volunteer at an evening art event about every forty five days. Simple solution. I eat dinner before I go, and take a large container of ice water or chai, so then it’s not so appealing.

If I feel peckish, I’ll grab some strawberries or celery off the catering table. Everything else tends to be rather unappealing anyway. Lots of finger food sized fried meats with dips or sauces, which I wouldn’t want anyway, and vast quantities of rather greasy low quality cheese. Meh.

Old Me would load up her plate several times. Latter Day Me is more choosy, lol.

If I know I am going out for lunch or dinner, I will adjust my calorie intake for the other meals of the day, so I don't blow it too much.

Then just start again the next day.
