Donna, restaurant food is just catching up with you. We all know that restaurant food is a recipe for disaster, so hopefully you can avoid that until after your birthday. I have seen you drop weight quickly in the past, stay the course my friend.

I'm not sure how many rounds of this 100 that I have done, but quite a few. I first joined this thread at 198 pounds.
I was sitting at 130 pounds in 2021, working very hard to get into the 120s (ugw 110-118)

Week 12 Actual Weight: 145.0Day 85β04/29β 145.0 - Very slow moving today, still on coffee. Huge list of things to accomplish, and my house is a disaster, but getting the garden going is a priority. Fitness Marshall first so that I open up my joints and warm up my muscles. I pretty much always see a 1-3 pound jump after a very long day digging. I don't look forward to that of course.
Day 86β04/30β 146.4 - Argh, so fast to put on, so sloooowwwww to take off. Pleased to announce that the 9 rows of potatoes are complete. Today on to the peas and beans, and hopefully several areas of beets and carrots. Andβ¦.I have to cut the grass already!!
Day 87β05/01β 146.8 - I am not sweating this weight gain, I did my sweating the last 2 long days in the garden. I truly feel that it will catch up in a few days and that weight will drop. Lots to do still in the garden, but not yet, and not as labour intensive. Back to 6 days a week for a few weeks and then I plan on taking an extra day off again. Next Tuesday (my day off) I will get the beet and carrot seeds into 3 locations after turning the soil. My remaining stuff is all going to be in raised beds of varying heights, so again, not as physically demanding. It was beautiful having 2 days off in a row! I actually vaccumed during Fitness Marshall breaks between songs yesterday morning while warming up my body for yardwork. Heehee, patches at a time and I kept dancing yet another song until that was done. Sadly no breakfast 2 days in a row. I used to get so freaked out that I gained so much weight at potato and pea planting days after working so hard in the sun, but now I have come to expect it. Gazillion calories burned (1281, almost as much as I took in), nutritious food.
Day 88β05/02β 146.4 - Split shift today and the next 2 following. During my break today I am going to get a couple of vaccines: Pneumococcal, and RSV. Kind of expensive. There are free ones, but they are not as good. The pneumonia one is good for life, like the Shingles ones that I got a couple of years ago that also wasn't free. Maybe tomorrow during my break I can get a start on cutting the grass π

Day 87β05/01β 171 - My eating has been ok....been walking nearly every day. Worried about my dog. No outward issue....was acting like he's scared of something. He's getting better but not quite over it yet. Wish I knew what happened but I will likely never know.

I know you are absolutely right about the restaurant foods. Since the ice storm on March 29th, and especially since the 5 day hotel stay when our area was without power, I honestly can't remember a day that I have NOT had one of my meals from a restaurant, including yesterday! It's been so busy outside and inside too as we round up finishing this remodel project as well. Contractor hasn't been here in a full 7 days so nothing is getting done now, but I am still working at organizing what is going back into the rooms and closet. I have two very large oak trees being cut down in the front yard (maybe this weekend?) and I am still burning all the stuff outside which I will be doing for weeks. I also babysit overnight Thursday and Friday with DGS grade 1. It just seems like there are not enough hours in the day, but I know I can do better. I have become complacent with food lately for sure and definitely lazy when it comes to cooking. I'm just floating through without giving it my all and I really need to get back to basics. Hopefully soon! I think the secret for me right now would be batch cooking but that sounds even harder, more time consuming and daunting. I need to just get to it and prove to myself that it really isn't that bad!

Thoughts at the start of this round:
Approximately this time last year (Challenge #15) I began to slowly gain weight throughout the rest of my winter and well into my Spring. I am still battling some of those pounds as we start this new challenge. This is a new opportunity to prove to myself and my family that I AM serious about getting healthier. I know I have bad eating disorders that bring about horrible eating habits. I also battle cravings because I havenβt gotten away from sugar or chocolate long enough to stop the cravings. I have such a long way to go and only a sketchy road to get there but Iβll never give up on myself or lose faith in my strength or my resolve. Iβll admit that Iβm not super confident that I will ever be in the 140βs again (my ultimate goal), but I AM 100% confident that I will shed these 190βs like a bad dream and NEVER weigh this much again. I donβt know when this will happen exactly. But I do know that it will. Thanks for sharing my journey and letting me travel with you on yours.

I did not have planned exercise but I had LOTS of extra movement with some overdue house projects I worked on (lots of stairs!). Crazy that Iβm still at about a 4 lb gain thatβs (IMHO) completely without merit. Okay, enough feeling sorry for myself! Staying the course here and trusting the process. Welcome to all our newly joining friends. Wishing everyone a stellar month of May! I canβt believe we are already this close to the end of another 100.
πͺπͺπͺπͺ 05/02 β 194.6 β (Trend Weight β 194.9) Just further proof that itβs absolutely true about things not always showing up on the scale until days later. After 2 days of high weights that I didnβt understand, today is finally a nice drop. But of all the crazy things, yesterday was actually a bad day! I did not pre-log, I ate grab-n-go foods throwing all caution to the wind. High calorie, high carb GARBAGE. Snacks were approved but I overate them. Today should have been the merited gain but the scale dropped 1.6 from the perfect days prior. Will yesterdayβs mistakes show up in a day or two? Maybe, but Iβll fight it tooth & nail, kicking and screaming all the way. Sometimes the scale will give me one dayβs grace so Iβll hope for that. I need better planning today for sure!

Week 12 Ending Weight: 141.5Day 85β04/29β 141.9. Two walks and a 4 mile treadmill run. I'm still not tracking food, but I ate healthy, though I feel I was a smidge high on calories. I'm glad I'm losing weight, but it is slow. I want to speed it up just a bit.

Day 87β05/01β 143.5. I'm surprised it's not higher. I made some bad choices yesterday, and ended up having a bit of a binge. I haven't done something like that it a long time. I think the stress of life is getting to me a bit more than usual lately. I'll make better choices today.
Day 88β05/02β 140.3. It was another stressful day, with a quick trip to the ER when my son busted his lip open. I just wasn't in the mood to eat, so I didn't eat much. I think I'll have some time to relax this weekend, so I'm looking forward to that.

Huge list of things to accomplish, and my house is a disaster, but getting the garden going is a priority. Fitness Marshall first so that I open up my joints and warm up my muscles. I pretty much always see a 1-3 pound jump after a very long day digging. I don't look forward to that of course.
Day 86β04/30β 146.4 - Argh, so fast to put on, so sloooowwwww to take off. Pleased to announce that the 9 rows of potatoes are complete. Today on to the peas and beans, and hopefully several areas of beets and carrots. Andβ¦.I have to cut the grass already!!
Day 87β05/01β 146.8 - I am not sweating this weight gain, I did my sweating the last 2 long days in the garden. I truly feel that it will catch up in a few days and that weight will drop. Lots to do still in the garden, but not yet, and not as labour intensive. Back to 6 days a week for a few weeks and then I plan on taking an extra day off again. Next Tuesday (my day off) I will get the beet and carrot seeds into 3 locations after turning the soil. My remaining stuff is all going to be in raised beds of varying heights, so again, not as physically demanding. It was beautiful having 2 days off in a row! I actually vaccumed during Fitness Marshall breaks between songs yesterday morning while warming up my body for yardwork. Heehee, patches at a time and I kept dancing yet another song until that was done. Sadly no breakfast 2 days in a row. I used to get so freaked out that I gained so much weight at potato and pea planting days after working so hard in the sun, but now I have come to expect it. Gazillion calories burned (1281, almost as much as I took in), nutritious food.
Day 88β05/02β 146.4 - Split shift today and the next 2 following. During my break today I am going to get a couple of vaccines: Pneumococcal, and RSV. Kind of expensive. There are free ones, but they are not as good. The pneumonia one is good for life, like the Shingles ones that I got a couple of years ago that also wasn't free. Maybe tomorrow during my break I can get a start on cutting the grass π
Day 89β05/03β 145.8 - inching back down. One of the differences in my weight this week has been no bathroom trips before weighing, rather not until after 2 cups of coffee. Turns out I have a split shift on Monday too, I like those because it is all at the Indian restaurant and I get a sizable break in the afternoons instead of running from one job to another at breakneck speed. It was 79f here yesterday on my car thermometre on my way to get vaccines and do some shopping. Arm is sore, I am very glad that I elected to get them both in the same arm, my non waitressing arm.

Day 87β05/01β 171 - My eating has been ok....been walking nearly every day. Worried about my dog. No outward issue....was acting like he's scared of something. He's getting better but not quite over it yet. Wish I knew what happened but I will likely never know.
Day 88β05/02β 169.8!!!! Ok....doggie is doing better. It was probably an anxiety thing....he inherited it from me...LOL!
But I got on the scale expecting the same old/same old but got a pleasant surprise! Feeling very optimistic right now.
Day 89β05/03β 169.8 - Had another walk yesterday. It's only about a half hour, but it really does make a difference. Will probably walk again today. I made a chicken pasta salad yesterday....enough for several meals.
