Ohhh Tracey, you're such a good daughter. I'm so sorry. It's just heartbreaking; isn't it. Praying for you.

I remember talking to my mommy about people she remembered and having to make up stories for her. It just broke my heart sometimes. Then the next day, she was clear as a bell. You never knew what you were going to get. Freddy dealt with that too with both of his parents. He was my rock with my mom. I hope you have someone to lean on.

Just a lazy weekend here, playing with paper, scissor and glue. Still got loads of cards to send out to anyone who wants to message me with important dates and their address!

    Love and Blessings

Worked then had to buy gas. Stopped at Sam’s since they had Gatorade with a sale price. Came home and cut the lawn. Vince hurt his knee so I finished.

Sue WA – have fun at the concert. Sure hope dd makes it

leaving this Thurs to go to FL for only 4 days. I did ask the other gal at BK if W would work for me (asked thru Google Translate). As expected, she said “si” and I said “thank you”. I’m sure she understands “thank you”

deb – I remember one year I was staying with my aunt and she had a garden. We ate so many tomatoes right out of the garden that when I got home I, literally, got sick. But I still love a tomato still warm from the sun

I gave PJ an easel once, I haven’t seen it. Wonder if he ever got to use it?

Cleaned the wall from the spa into the pool. For some reason, there’s always these gray streaks after the winter. So I just clean them and they come off. Then got leaves out of the spa. I’m sure there are more. Vince spray painted the green poles, I didn’t do it the way he would have so he did it. Started to rain so they’re drying in the garage right now. Hopefully, by tomorrow I will be able to get my car back in the garage. Put flags by the plants that I’ll ask my neighbor to water while we’re in FL (just one day). Church tonight.

Took a short walk around the block but then it started to rain. Made a chocolate pudding pie because I had some heavy cream that I wanted to use up

Since I don’t work tomorrow, the plan is to do a Firm Total Muscle Shaping DVD and then part of the 10 Minute Solution Yoga DVD. Then I think I’ll take a walk to Food Lion.

Plant people … do you know what the tall, palm-like, plant is?

We'd like to get more of them if possible, but it helps to know what they are. 😊

And a humorous article for you to enjoy about how Australia is different from other parts of the world. 😁

Lynette- Yes, I will transplant some of the starts in to bigger pots, just like you do. Especially the ones at mom's that are planted in flats
I text the guy that lives in the motor home on her property and had him check the greenhouse- she has remembered to water it or my nephew who is visiting for two weeks is doing it.
He also told me that they (nephew and mom) were going to go look at a truck for her after she totaled hers.

Michele- Fresh tomatoes, still warm, are the best.

Had the show today. It rained on the drive up to Vacaville and while we were setting up but then it cleared up. Stayed cool. About half the vendors as last year and about half the customers I think. Sales were really down. Barely sold $100 worth of stuff. Next Saturday will be better- We will be in Lodi.
Dh did really enjoy talking about our stuff, telling them how he did things, etc. Not having the dread of dealing with his mom because he missed a day seeing her is making a big difference.

Need to go to Lowes tomorrow- to pick up potting soil I ordered online. Ordered it the last day of the sale. Need to pick it up by Tuesday.
Want to get more work done in the garden. Maybe tomorrow.

Lisa … after further research, we think the tall palm-like plants in the photo above are actually madagascar dragon tree (dracaena reflexa var. angustifolia).

    They're taller than me!

I did wonder about bamboo or palm.

Allie ~ Delia is going to be walking before you know it! Love her blue eyes.

Heather ~ Edie is a blessing to you and Johnny!

Rebecca ~ So glad your son if feeling better.

Lisa ~ I ordered some wildflower seeds this morning and just hope they come up. It may be too late for planting.

Debbie ~ Good news that your DH seems to be less anxious.

Tomatoes ~ I wish I could find some really good tomatoes. Maybe I can find some at one of the farm stands because the ones from the grocery never seem good. I have no idea how to grow my own and am probably too lazy to do so.

We finally have sunshine today after several days of rain and storms. Will probably get more later in the week around Wednesday. Hoping the lawn people show up and get the yard done.

    Thank you-

The tomatoes at the stores are generally picked green or close to it, that is why there is no flavor.
If they waited until they were ripe to pick, they wouldn't survive transport.
You can plant them in just large pots- they do well in containers. Just need to stake them up.
They don't need a lot of care really, just watering it. Loves lots of sun.
All of my garden is in either raised beds(dad and mom built two of them for me years ago-LOVE them) or big pots. The soil is terrible here. I plant some tomatoes in one of the raised beds, the rest in pots(because I don't have room for all of them in the raised bed and the second one is for my cucumbers)

I have noticed that correcting stuff as you go along is hard. Like if you want to make the photos smaller and you already posted is troublesome. Also like if you want to make a name bold, you have to do it when youre all done typing, but before you actually hit reply.
