    I'm 48. 5โ€™4โ€™โ€™. Live in Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ. This is my 7th 100 days challenge. This works. Bad yo-yoing days are gone. Wt going down slowly but surely, any amount is a WIN!!ย

    This is my second 100 day challenge. I lost 8 lbs last round, and I'm hoping to lose at least 10 lbs this round.

    Day 92โ€”05/06โ€” 142.4. I finally got back to tracking. My calories were just a little high. I also made sure to drink enough water. I went for a walk, but took a rest day from the gym.

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€” 142.5. I went on a long walk, but no gym. Tracked food and was under goal. It was another stressful day that I'm glad is over. I'm hoping things will settle down a bit now.

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€” 142.6. Short walk, no gym. I didn't feel well yesterday so I decided to give myself some grace and did the minimum. Food was okay, but not great.

    Day 95โ€”05/09โ€” 143.2. I'm going in the wrong direction. But I have to remind myself, "you can't be upset about the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do". Lots of walking yesterday, but no gym. Food was okay, but not great. Tonight is beer with friends night, so I'm expecting I big jump tomorrow, and then hopefully I can refocus and finish this challenge strong.

    Day 96โ€”05/10โ€” 142.3. I'm really surprised it's not higher. I'm probably a bit dehydrated. Had a fun night with friends that included plenty of alcohol. I'm going to head to the gym here in a few minutes, after I finish waking up.

    Day 97โ€”05/11โ€” 143.1. I've increased the distance of my runs a bit. I am finding that it is making me hungry, so I eat more. It takes me way over my limit, even with increasing them slightly to account for extra activity. I'm going to try to increase protein a bit, as well as making sure every bite counts, as I don't have room in my budget for small treats that don't help to fill me. And I don't need them. Usually I eat them simply because they are there. I'm going grocery shopping and meal prepping to hopefully set me up for success this coming week.

    I was sitting at 130 pounds in 2021, working very hard to get into the 120s (ugw 110-118)

    Day 92โ€”05/06โ€” 145.6 - Really thought that it would be higher, I had my once every 3 months Ribs last night. So delicious. In the red of course. It might still go up. Glad that I did that with 8 days to spare until the end of this 100. I decided in the morning and took the box (pre-cooked and sauced) out of the freezer and ate very little during the day. Lots and lots to do in the yard/garden today, my only day off, not as physically intense as digging the potato garden, but it could still raise my weight. I need to get the grass cut before I turn on the outside water from inside tap. After the grass is cut I can plant some more areas and then water them : - )

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€” 144.8 - My day off was really good, but went too fast lol. I got so spoiled last week with having 2 days off I guess. I have to keep this working 6 days a week up, although I do plan on taking an extra day off here and there, hopefully one per month. I didn't get everything planted that I planned, but I did get the grass cut, and 2 out of 3 of the beds tilled, soil added, compost added, and planted. There will be no time now until next Tuesday unless I forego my walks on Saturday and or Sunday during my work break. No break today or tomorrow, running from one job to another and Friday I am going to a play in the evening, "Footloose". : - )

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€” 150.0 - Another day where I will be running from one job to another. I have to keep this up for 4 more months. Sigh. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I just have to keep going. Nutrition and workouts are important for me, to maintain some sort of health and balance. Today, I just don't feel like it, but I will do it. I have time this morning with my coffee to look at all the "hearts" that I have put on Booking.com and dream about my 65th birthday trip. Lol, 19 destinations to choose from. Of course I want it to be a memorable trip.

    Day 95โ€”05/09โ€” 145.4 - Really good calories out/calories in yesterday. Sorry to see a gain because I am going out to see a play with friends tonight and was planning on having wine there. A buffer would have been good. Yikes that we are so close to the end of this challenge!!

    Day 96โ€”05/10โ€” 143.8 - I was surprised at this weight since I didn't have dinner until 11pm. However, as I was completing my food and exercise diaries for yesterday I see that my calories in were still quite low. Only a small change yesterday, I didn't get a chance to eat my frozen fruit at work like I usually do, I was too busy. Plus I had my granola/yoghurt thing twice. My stomach was not feeling good in the late afternoon for some reason, but it feels fine today. NO wine at the theatre. Footloose was super fun and entertaining : - )

    Day 97โ€”05/11โ€” 143.8 - During my break from my split shift I got some more done in the yard/garden yesterday. I am planting less carrots this year, so they are all in and the final beet bed tilled and seeded. Working 11-7 today at the Indian restaurant (not my usual shift), my favourite job, so less stress more happiness contributing to the lower weight? Strangely not sunny here this morning and I was going to have my coffee out on the porch. This is one of the sunniest spots in Canada, so it is a bit abnormal. Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mother's out there. Thinking of my own Mother and how wonderful she was.

    Thoughts at the start of this round:

    Approximately this time last year (Challenge #15) I began to slowly gain weight throughout the rest of my winter and well into my Spring. I am still battling some of those pounds as we start this new challenge. This is a new opportunity to prove to myself and my family that I AM serious about getting healthier. I know I have bad eating disorders that bring about horrible eating habits. I also battle cravings because I havenโ€™t gotten away from sugar or chocolate long enough to stop the cravings. I have such a long way to go and only a sketchy road to get there but Iโ€™ll never give up on myself or lose faith in my strength or my resolve. Iโ€™ll admit that Iโ€™m not super confident that I will ever be in the 140โ€™s again (my ultimate goal), but I AM 100% confident that I will shed these 190โ€™s like a bad dream and NEVER weigh this much again. I donโ€™t know when this will happen exactly. But I do know that it will. Thanks for sharing my journey and letting me travel with you on yours.

I am calling this birthday my red white and blue birthday as this is the one that the US Govโ€™t sends us the r w & b Medicare card for our medical insurance. Boy, does that ever make a gal feel old!!!! I wanted to originally lose 10 lbs by my birthday but then got caught up in the furnace going out for 17 days in late winter and the ice storm which forced me to leave home. All excuses aside, I obviously did not make it, but my wish started at the weight of 195.8 so at 193.6 I am down 2.2 which is better than being up I suppose. I enjoyed a very fancy place today for a luncheon with my children and a couple of the grandchildren to celebrate my occasion. Delicious!

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€”145.1ย Eating was better than the last few days, and I got a workout in: 45 min. leisurely walk, 40 min. spin class, 10 min upper body toning with light weights, 3 sets of leg extensions for my weak knees.

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€”145.1ย Eating was fair yesterday, and I took my mom and Kaya (pup) out for some exercise at the end of the day which was a nice, leisurely walk in the park. Not enough time in the day to include a workout for myself though. But that's ok.

    Day 92โ€”05/06โ€” 171 - I am not concerned about the gain....its my body. I didn't do anything to cause a gain. Finished up the pasta salad for lunch. Might have fish for dinner.

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€” 170.8 - Feeling so blah today...not sure why. No exercise as a result.

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€” 170.6 - Got bloodwork done yesterday....waiting for results of my A1c. Today the apartment needs a good straightening and curtains changed out. That will likely be my exercise for the day.

    Day 95โ€”05/09โ€” 170.6 - Had eggs and sausage for breakfast....no carbs...and a small glass of milk to take my meds with. I plan on a bagel for a snack and fish for dinner. Need to get to the grocery store again....running low on food.

    Got my A1c results....went from 6.2 to 6.1. Doesn't look like much on the surface, but its great for me. Going down is always good. Other numbers were also in normal range.

    Day 94โ€”05/08: 4:45 181.6; awake early. 179.2 after going back to bed. Glucose is 5.5 which is awesome. 6pm, still hoping to get out for some cardio time. Didnโ€™t happen, watered greenhouse and made batch of spinach hummus instead ?? Wish this cold wind would stop.

    Day 95โ€”05/09: 180, awake super early again ( 4:15!)

    Day 96โ€”05/10: n/a Worked morning shift. 2 co workers are off on long term medical leave so their positions canโ€™t be permanently filled therefore permanent staff are having to pick up their shifts. Iโ€™m getting really tired, and this is interfering with my life at home. No energy to garden, yardwork or start interior painting.

    Day 97โ€”05/11: 181; broken sleep again last nite so 6am came too early. Grumpy at work today. Super tired after work. Started bread binge, craving ice cream; slowed the binge down, drank water and had a salad w/feta cheese; normalized and now feeling okay. To bed early.

    Day 92โ€”05/06โ€” 142.4. I finally got back to tracking. My calories were just a little high. I also made sure to drink enough water. I went for a walk, but took a rest day from the gym.

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€” 142.5. I went on a long walk, but no gym. Tracked food and was under goal. It was another stressful day that I'm glad is over. I'm hoping things will settle down a bit now.

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€” 142.6. Short walk, no gym. I didn't feel well yesterday so I decided to give myself some grace and did the minimum. Food was okay, but not great.

    Day 95โ€”05/09โ€” 143.2. I'm going in the wrong direction. But I have to remind myself, "you can't be upset about the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do". Lots of walking yesterday, but no gym. Food was okay, but not great. Tonight is beer with friends night, so I'm expecting I big jump tomorrow, and then hopefully I can refocus and finish this challenge strong.

    Day 96โ€”05/10โ€” 142.3. I'm really surprised it's not higher. I'm probably a bit dehydrated. Had a fun night with friends that included plenty of alcohol. I'm going to head to the gym here in a few minutes, after I finish waking up.

    Day 97โ€”05/11โ€” 143.1. I've increased the distance of my runs a bit. I am finding that it is making me hungry, so I eat more. It takes me way over my limit, even with increasing them slightly to account for extra activity. I'm going to try to increase protein a bit, as well as making sure every bite counts, as I don't have room in my budget for small treats that don't help to fill me. And I don't need them. Usually I eat them simply because they are there. I'm going grocery shopping and meal prepping to hopefully set me up for success this coming week.

    Day 98โ€”05/12โ€” 143.6. I ran 7 miles on the treadmill yesterday, a new record for me, and a short walk. I indulged a bit for mother's day. I have lots of healthy food in the fridge so I can get back on track. Looking like I'm going to be quite a bit off from my goal this round, but at least I lost something.

    Day 92โ€”05/06โ€” 145.6 - Really thought that it would be higher, I had my once every 3 months Ribs last night. So delicious. In the red of course. It might still go up. Glad that I did that with 8 days to spare until the end of this 100. I decided in the morning and took the box (pre-cooked and sauced) out of the freezer and ate very little during the day. Lots and lots to do in the yard/garden today, my only day off, not as physically intense as digging the potato garden, but it could still raise my weight. I need to get the grass cut before I turn on the outside water from inside tap. After the grass is cut I can plant some more areas and then water them : - )

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€” 144.8 - My day off was really good, but went too fast lol. I got so spoiled last week with having 2 days off I guess. I have to keep this working 6 days a week up, although I do plan on taking an extra day off here and there, hopefully one per month. I didn't get everything planted that I planned, but I did get the grass cut, and 2 out of 3 of the beds tilled, soil added, compost added, and planted. There will be no time now until next Tuesday unless I forego my walks on Saturday and or Sunday during my work break. No break today or tomorrow, running from one job to another and Friday I am going to a play in the evening, "Footloose". : - )

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€” 150.0 - Another day where I will be running from one job to another. I have to keep this up for 4 more months. Sigh. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I just have to keep going. Nutrition and workouts are important for me, to maintain some sort of health and balance. Today, I just don't feel like it, but I will do it. I have time this morning with my coffee to look at all the "hearts" that I have put on Booking.com and dream about my 65th birthday trip. Lol, 19 destinations to choose from. Of course I want it to be a memorable trip.

    Day 95โ€”05/09โ€” 145.4 - Really good calories out/calories in yesterday. Sorry to see a gain because I am going out to see a play with friends tonight and was planning on having wine there. A buffer would have been good. Yikes that we are so close to the end of this challenge!!

    Day 96โ€”05/10โ€” 143.8 - I was surprised at this weight since I didn't have dinner until 11pm. However, as I was completing my food and exercise diaries for yesterday I see that my calories in were still quite low. Only a small change yesterday, I didn't get a chance to eat my frozen fruit at work like I usually do, I was too busy. Plus I had my granola/yoghurt thing twice. My stomach was not feeling good in the late afternoon for some reason, but it feels fine today. NO wine at the theatre. Footloose was super fun and entertaining : - )

    Day 97โ€”05/11โ€” 143.8 - During my break from my split shift I got some more done in the yard/garden yesterday. I am planting less carrots this year, so they are all in and the final beet bed tilled and seeded. Working 11-7 today at the Indian restaurant (not my usual shift), my favourite job, so less stress more happiness contributing to the lower weight? Strangely not sunny here this morning and I was going to have my coffee out on the porch. This is one of the sunniest spots in Canada, so it is a bit abnormal. Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mother's out there. Thinking of my own Mother and how wonderful she was.

    Thoughts at the start of this round:

    Approximately this time last year (Challenge #15) I began to slowly gain weight throughout the rest of my winter and well into my Spring. I am still battling some of those pounds as we start this new challenge. This is a new opportunity to prove to myself and my family that I AM serious about getting healthier. I know I have bad eating disorders that bring about horrible eating habits. I also battle cravings because I havenโ€™t gotten away from sugar or chocolate long enough to stop the cravings. I have such a long way to go and only a sketchy road to get there but Iโ€™ll never give up on myself or lose faith in my strength or my resolve. Iโ€™ll admit that Iโ€™m not super confident that I will ever be in the 140โ€™s again (my ultimate goal), but I AM 100% confident that I will shed these 190โ€™s like a bad dream and NEVER weigh this much again. I donโ€™t know when this will happen exactly. But I do know that it will. Thanks for sharing my journey and letting me travel with you on yours.

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€”145.1ย Eating was better than the last few days, and I got a workout in: 45 min. leisurely walk, 40 min. spin class, 10 min upper body toning with light weights, 3 sets of leg extensions for my weak knees.

    Day 94โ€”05/08: 4:45 181.6; awake early. 179.2 after going back to bed. Glucose is 5.5 which is awesome. 6pm, still hoping to get out for some cardio time. Didnโ€™t happen, watered greenhouse and made batch of spinach hummus instead ?? Wish this cold wind would stop.

    Day 95โ€”05/09: 180, awake super early again ( 4:15!)

    Day 96โ€”05/10: n/a Worked morning shift. 2 co workers are off on long term medical leave so their positions canโ€™t be permanently filled therefore permanent staff are having to pick up their shifts. Iโ€™m getting really tired, and this is interfering with my life at home. No energy to garden, yardwork or start interior painting.

    Day 97โ€”05/11: 181; broken sleep again last nite so 6am came too early. Grumpy at work today. Super tired after work. Started bread binge, craving ice cream; slowed the binge down, drank water and had a salad w/feta cheese; normalized and now feeling okay. To bed early.

    Day 98โ€”05/12: 179.4 Instead of thinking โ€œoh my god, thatโ€™s an awful weightโ€, I need to be thankful itโ€™s below 180. Saw doctor this morning. Will work this afternoonโ€™s shift then take 2 weeks off to rest my foot. Just recโ€™d text from manager that Iโ€™ll be training a newbie this afternoon so this is perfect timing. Looking forward to this time off.

    I am Dawn, 64 years old, I live in SE BC Canada
    I'm not sure how many rounds of this 100 that I have done, but quite a few. I first joined this thread at 198 pounds.
    I was sitting at 130 pounds in 2021, working very hard to get into the 120s (ugw 110-118)

    Day 92โ€”05/06โ€” 145.6 - Really thought that it would be higher, I had my once every 3 months Ribs last night. So delicious. In the red of course. It might still go up. Glad that I did that with 8 days to spare until the end of this 100. I decided in the morning and took the box (pre-cooked and sauced) out of the freezer and ate very little during the day. Lots and lots to do in the yard/garden today, my only day off, not as physically intense as digging the potato garden, but it could still raise my weight. I need to get the grass cut before I turn on the outside water from inside tap. After the grass is cut I can plant some more areas and then water them : - )

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€” 144.8 - My day off was really good, but went too fast lol. I got so spoiled last week with having 2 days off I guess. I have to keep this working 6 days a week up, although I do plan on taking an extra day off here and there, hopefully one per month. I didn't get everything planted that I planned, but I did get the grass cut, and 2 out of 3 of the beds tilled, soil added, compost added, and planted. There will be no time now until next Tuesday unless I forego my walks on Saturday and or Sunday during my work break. No break today or tomorrow, running from one job to another and Friday I am going to a play in the evening, "Footloose". : - )

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€” 150.0 - Another day where I will be running from one job to another. I have to keep this up for 4 more months. Sigh. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I just have to keep going. Nutrition and workouts are important for me, to maintain some sort of health and balance. Today, I just don't feel like it, but I will do it. I have time this morning with my coffee to look at all the "hearts" that I have put on Booking.com and dream about my 65th birthday trip. Lol, 19 destinations to choose from. Of course I want it to be a memorable trip.

    Day 95โ€”05/09โ€” 145.4 - Really good calories out/calories in yesterday. Sorry to see a gain because I am going out to see a play with friends tonight and was planning on having wine there. A buffer would have been good. Yikes that we are so close to the end of this challenge!!

    Day 96โ€”05/10โ€” 143.8 - I was surprised at this weight since I didn't have dinner until 11pm. However, as I was completing my food and exercise diaries for yesterday I see that my calories in were still quite low. Only a small change yesterday, I didn't get a chance to eat my frozen fruit at work like I usually do, I was too busy. Plus I had my granola/yoghurt thing twice. My stomach was not feeling good in the late afternoon for some reason, but it feels fine today. NO wine at the theatre. Footloose was super fun and entertaining : - )

    Day 97โ€”05/11โ€” 143.8 - During my break from my split shift I got some more done in the yard/garden yesterday. I am planting less carrots this year, so they are all in and the final beet bed tilled and seeded. Working 11-7 today at the Indian restaurant (not my usual shift), my favourite job, so less stress more happiness contributing to the lower weight? Strangely not sunny here this morning and I was going to have my coffee out on the porch. This is one of the sunniest spots in Canada, so it is a bit abnormal. Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mother's out there. Thinking of my own Mother and how wonderful she was.

    Day 98โ€”05/12โ€” 143.0 - Very happy to see this number. Very busy at the restaurant yesterday, $$ Just a short shift today, then a couple of appointments and then off tomorrow. We got a bit of rain here which is awesome because I didn't get a chance to water my newly planted seeds or the ones that I planted last week on my day off. Sun is coming out now. 2 days until our final weigh in!

    Day 99โ€”05/13โ€” 143.0 - I had a few drinks last night, but I hadn't eaten much so got way too woozy. Then I ate a frozen bowl, cheeseburger pasta of all things. I wasn't even hungry, but had to mitigate the booze. Low tolerance to it I guess. Day off today, getting my hair done this morning and then will maybe shop a bit and then putter around the house as it is drizzling. My first 3 rows of potatoes that I put in April 22nd started to sprout yesterday ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜Š

    Thoughts at the start of this round:

    Approximately this time last year (Challenge #15) I began to slowly gain weight throughout the rest of my winter and well into my Spring. I am still battling some of those pounds as we start this new challenge. This is a new opportunity to prove to myself and my family that I AM serious about getting healthier. I know I have bad eating disorders that bring about horrible eating habits. I also battle cravings because I havenโ€™t gotten away from sugar or chocolate long enough to stop the cravings. I have such a long way to go and only a sketchy road to get there but Iโ€™ll never give up on myself or lose faith in my strength or my resolve. Iโ€™ll admit that Iโ€™m not super confident that I will ever be in the 140โ€™s again (my ultimate goal), but I AM 100% confident that I will shed these 190โ€™s like a bad dream and NEVER weigh this much again. I donโ€™t know when this will happen exactly. But I do know that it will. Thanks for sharing my journey and letting me travel with you on yours.

Lots of movement outside working on the storm cleanup. Burning lots of brush, limbs and leaves. Most of the raking just in the bonfire area but tried to maximize it. Hair appointment today for a cut for myself and my son. Probably lunch afterwards as he expects it. With the autism he is still pretty childlike in many instances. He gets to pick the restaurant. Iโ€™ll try to choose smart but heโ€™ll probably want the pizza parlor. Ughโ€ฆ. Not exactly good for tomorrowโ€™s final weigh in. Iโ€™ll have to be Vewy Vewy Cawful this evening!

    Day 92โ€”05/06โ€” 171 - I am not concerned about the gain....its my body. I didn't do anything to cause a gain. Finished up the pasta salad for lunch. Might have fish for dinner.

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€” 170.8 - Feeling so blah today...not sure why. No exercise as a result.

    Day 94โ€”05/08โ€” 170.6 - Got bloodwork done yesterday....waiting for results of my A1c. Today the apartment needs a good straightening and curtains changed out. That will likely be my exercise for the day.

    Day 95โ€”05/09โ€” 170.6 - Had eggs and sausage for breakfast....no carbs...and a small glass of milk to take my meds with. I plan on a bagel for a snack and fish for dinner. Need to get to the grocery store again....running low on food.

    Got my A1c results....went from 6.2 to 6.1. Doesn't look like much on the surface, but its great for me. Going down is always good. Other numbers were also in normal range.

    Day 98โ€”05/12โ€” 172.8 - ..โ€ฆaccording to my Dr's scale. But that was fully clothed with shoes, so it's not really true for how I weigh myself. Had a pizza craving so I got a small one.

    Day 93โ€”05/07โ€”145.1ย Eating was better than the last few days, and I got a workout in: 45 min. leisurely walk, 40 min. spin class, 10 min upper body toning with light weights, 3 sets of leg extensions for my weak knees.
