success story gone wrong

I started here in the new year weighing 284.5 working my way down to 256 in mid march when work, real life and other things got in the way. Mid July I had gained back 10 lbs but didn't think about it to much. Now here I was in middle of September in the high 270's again.... I was thinking WTF. While my work hours are a challenge, I have again started making all my own food and bringing it to work. I have been trying to get out for 30 minutes and go for a walk a day. Again the scale has been co operating and I am now down to 270. Hopefully I can keep this trend going so I can hit 250 for Christmas. It is amazing how quickly things can go the other way on you. I haven't kept my food log on here up to date as much as I would like, however I have now spent the last 3 days making dinners, lunches etc. to keep on track and in the freezer. While still busy at work, hopefully the freezer stash will make it easier to keep committed.

You really have to be dedicated for this to work. I try to keep track of all the food I put into my mouth. I don't eat my excercise calories, in case I missed something that I ate. This would include salad dressings and condiments. Sometimes we think its nothing, when it really is something.
Keep trying, don't give up!!! Looking forward to seeing where you are at at Christmas!!!0 -
everyone has there step backs.... but what matters is they keep stepping forward. your going the right right way^^0

A little up, a little down, my friend. Ebb and flow. The important thing is you remain conscious about where you are and where you want to be. Failure is educational - see what life events and situations triggered you to fall off the wagon, and be prepared to see them come around again. When they do, recognize them, and brainstorm ways to doubly focus on not falling off the wagon this time.
It's easy for weaknesses to sneak up on us. But you're learning. Accept your weaknesses, but learn to recognize and work against them when they arise. Simply staying aware and "in the game" will help you succeed. :-)0 -
You can do it!! I am proud of you for even making effort to do it! Everyone has ups and downs but just make sure 5 days a week you do something for 30 min and watch what you eat!! Good luck!0
