Day 24 (5/15/25)
General
Weight: 151.8 lbs
6 days left! I'm having awful snack cravings and am exhausted but trying to hold strong, I didn't come this far to give up all of my progress for the month. I'm so tired I actually can't think of much to say today haha, maybe tomorrow I'll have more.
Exercise
Some light yoga yesterday but only for about ten minutes before I got interrupted lol. Oh well. It was nice, and I'm sure it will help my muscles recover if I stick to it, so I'll try to do it more often/for longer.
Today is leg day! The weekdays stink because we end up going at a very busy time, so we don't always have access to the equipment we need. But I'm hoping to finally try some Bulgarian splits today since they're out of my normal routine.
Food
I'm almost certain I'll go for a snack or something at some point today, so in addition to what I have logged here I'm honestly expecting another 200-300 calories of some sort of treat 🤗
Breakfast: Protein yogurt, frozen mixed berries, protein granola
Lunch: Turkey veggie wrap, blackberries, probiotic trail mix
Dinner: Scrambled eggs, bacon
Snacks: Banana, iced coffee with a splash of creamer
Totals: 1,468 calories (+ maybe 200 calories of some treat), 89g protein, 29g fiber

Day 25 (5/16/25)
General
Weight: 151.4 lbs
The end is near! I'm really excited. I did have a big 'ol snack yesterday but it looks like it really didn't throw me off, I even lost a bit.
This weekend will be fun but I need to be extra careful. There's going to be a lot of food activities AND my gym is closed most of the weekend so they can do graduation things in the community. I'll have to be disciplined lol.
I can't remember if I mentioned this but I bought a yard of very pretty fabric and wanted to find something to do with it, so I've been watching people make homemade napkins. I think that's how I'll stay distracted at home. Plus I'll get some cute napkins out of it.
Exercise
Confession time, I did not exercise yesterday. I found out the section of the gym I use would be closed (more graduation set up, I guess??) and just didn't go. I absolutely could've gone swimming or done an at home workout, but I took it as an excuse to take a nap. Great nap, btw :)
Food
Today will be great food wise, I've planned filling and nutrient packed dinner and shouldn't be hungry until late this evening. I'll be good today since I had a lot of extra snacking yesterday!
Breakfast: Protein yogurt, frozen mixed berries, protein granola
Lunch: Turkey veggie wrap, strawberries, trail mix
Dinner: Grilled chicken salad
Snacks: Banana, iced coffee with a splash of creamer
Totals: 1,662 calories, 132g protein, 34g fiber

Great work. You definitely inspired me to be more honest with myself. I am paying for this app, and have not used it since. I am going to start my own accountability thread, and hopefully that will help me. Thanks for the inspiration and wishing you all good things are the rest of your journey.

There is nothing wrong with having a rest day. And rest those muscles. I been going to the gym with my 71 yr old mother. And when busy. I usually do cardio. Laps around the gym. Or use the oliptical. An after I do cardio. The machine are free. I been doing chest biceps triceps and back. Of course every day is leg day. When not at gym with mother. I work out on my gym. In my house. Oliptical and total gym. I wanted to mention. Before I got a expresso machine to make Delicious cup of latte. I was using regular oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk. To put in my coffee. Than I went back to black ☕️ .than I got a expresso machine. It's worth it. 1 cup of 16 , or 12 oz carmel latte every morning. With oat milk . Delicious and worth the money. For the expresso machine. I double my expresso shots. 2 or 4 depends on cup size. If you love your coffee as mush as I do. It worth the upgrade. Amazon is where i purchased. start your mornings off with a Delicious cup of latte. Took some time to make a great cup. Carmel syrup oatmilk latte and peanut butter sourdough toast with banana cut up. On top of toast. Has been my breakfast. After peanut butter gone. I've been craving Avocado toast. 🥑
Keep up the great work. Don't give up. Love reading what your accomplishments are throughout the day.

Today is Day 1 of my new 30-Day Fat Loss Challenge. It's a meal plan / preparation / eating process (I refuse to say "diet") devised by Scott Baptie. I follow him on IG and have previously made some of his recipes and they are very enjoyable.
Last night I prepped a couple of meals so that lunch and dinner are ready for us for today and tomorrow. I plan on prepping on Thursday for the remainder of the week.
So far we've had breakfast - 2 x boiled eggs, 4 small new potatoes (boiled) and a drizzle of salad cream. I have also had two cups of coffee (1 black, 1 with milk and sugar) and I have a glass of water standing by (always have trouble consuming enough water a day).
Wish me luck!

Awesome!! Keep it up!2 -
Oh wow! So many comments, I feel guilty now that I stepped away for a bit!!
All I can say is thank you all for the tips and the support you've offered me. This thread has been exactly what I needed to get myself back on track. Thank you for following along in what I expected to do alone, truly ☺️
I do owe a recap of my last few days. Unfortunately this weekend was far from my best and I do not have calorie counts or weigh-ins, save for Monday. But I have had many good days during this thread, and it's not fair to hide the bad. Here is the honest truth of this weekend (plus Monday!):
Recap of Days 26, 27, and 28:
Day 26 (5/17/25):
Total calories: ???
Weigh-in: ???
Day 27 (5/18/25):
Total calories: ???
Weigh-in: ???
Day 28 (5/19/25):
Total calories: 1,454
Weigh-in: 152.4 lbs
And that's it, mostly a mystery followed by a pound of weight gain. I did have a good time, but my exercise and food was no where near where it needed to be. I forced myself back on track for Monday, and (spoiler for today's entry) I am back to the weight I was prior to falling off track. Ready to finish strong :)
Thank you all again for your support and I wish you the absolute best in your own journeys!! We can do this 😁

Day 29 (5/20/25)
General
Weight: 151.4 lbs
Back where I was Friday! After the weekend I was pretty disappointed in myself, but I am proud that I got back on track. In the past, a weekend where I gave up tracking and weighing might set me far off from my goals. But I've recovered and it's time to finish this out!
I leave for vacation Thursday afternoon and have decided my last official day of record-keeping will be Wednesday (5/21/25), but I will provide a final weigh-in on Thursday (5/22/25) if I'm not too rushed.
It's crazy to think it's so soon. It hasn't felt real, honestly the only way I have tracked the time is this thread. I have come a long way!
Exercise
It's a full body day I think! We're trying to get one big day in and then a rest day so we won't be as sore on a plane for hours and hours. We'll probably be at the gym for too long for me to do any chores, but if not, I should be moving around plenty getting the house ready for our vacation.
Food
Today is a weird one. I'll try to have a better calculation tomorrow and give a real total after I've gone through the whole day. I've got a random corporate lunch today and am not sure what they're serving (likely pizza, salad, chips) and I'm gonna do my best to limit my intake. My partner also bought some meal prep from a healthy to-go meals place, and we're having one of those tonight. Great for macros and limiting calories, but I have no idea how much fiber or sugar or things like that are in it.
Anyway, here is the best estimate I can make for now, will update tomorrow!:
Breakfast: Protein yogurt, frozen mixed berries, protein granola
Lunch: Some random corporate lunch (500 cals..?)
Dinner: Maple bacon burger
Snacks: Iced coffee with a splash of creamer
Totals: about 1,477 calories, >75g protein, >7g fiber

Day 30 (5/21/25)
🎉 THE END!!!! 🎉
Weight: 152.0 lbs
That's it! 30 whole days. Tomorrow I take a flight out of the country a slightly thinner, definitely healthier person. I am pretty proud of myself! I may not have reached my major goal, but I smashed my minor goal and lost a total of 6.2lbs in one month. Pretty big deal for a person who plateaued for months :)
I'm a little sad I didn't get closer to my major goal of -10lbs, but I knew when I set it that it would be a bit more difficult to achieve. I've done great, and I've come away with some good habits. There's plenty to celebrate!
Unfortunately I leave a lot earlier than I thought I would tomorrow, so there will be no more updates. This thread is officially over! Again, I am so appreciative of everyone who kept track of my journey. I've gotten some great support and tips over this last month. I wish you all the best on your own journeys and hope I've helped someone else along the way ☺️
Exercise
My exercise for today will be running around and doing all sorts of last minute stuff! No gym, but hopefully a decent amount of unintentional cardio lol.
Food
Okay I wanted to give REAL totals from yesterday, here it is: 1,592 cals. A little more than I hoped for but, not too bad!
Here is my last food entry, another meal-prepped thing for dinner tonight so I'll be getting plenty of protein:
Breakfast: Protein yogurt, frozen mixed berries, protein granola
Lunch: Turkey veggie wrap, bell pepper slices, trail mix
Dinner: Egg roll bowl with yum yum sauce
Snacks: Iced coffee with a splash of creamer
Totals: about 1,296 calories, 93g protein, 23g fiber
…That's all, friends! Have a great day and an awesome week!!
