I've just enquired, and, unfortunately they don't take the lamps. 🤨

Ginny, I had an adjustable bed. I only used the head adjustment but my DH would adjust the whole thing all the time to watch TV. For me, I would not get another as I can’t justify the cost, but for DH, I would get another. Try it out before buying one. We tried a whole lot of beds before we settled on the one we got that time. Now in the RV, we just add or remove pillows as we like.

Lucy is learning fast! She learned the word “down’ already from me trying to keep her off the table! The last time I had a puppy that was smart like this was when I was raising Rat Terriers. I suspect she has some Terrier in her. Will find out this afternoon after Vet appointment. I won’t do a DNA test on her as we are not going to show, or breed her. NO is her next word. LOL

Getting excited about my trip, I fly out next Tuesday!

    Thought for today:

Why was the dad sitting on a deck of cards?k

His son asked him to sit on the deck with him!

This is how I shuffle cards! LMAO!

Oh yes, buying more protein is definitely more expensive, but husband is not grumbling too much.🙄😂

Awe Allie, give yourself some grace about the prednisone. Yes your kidney comes first, and being on prednisone helps it. You will wrangle in your appetite, mind your choices soon enough. Persevere!

Some of you color, and some of you do puzzles, this app Jigsawscapes, seems to address both, in that I seem to pick puzzles in the colors categories, and complete puzzles in a way that is akin to coloring. Plus it satisfies my need to put things in a certain order. This is just a mind relaxing activity to me. Here's a screenshot of puzzles I have chosen recently.💖😁. They all start out at 1% when you choose them but don't actually play them right then.

John's doodles this afternoon. Rebecca's colour puzzles reminded me.

I have a few twinges down below! Hoping it will go away, but not optimistic. Drinking soooo much water. :-(

Ooooh nice! One of my other puzzle apps were nice in that I could take whatever photo and make a puzzle out of it! Johns pretty doodles would be just the thing! Sadly Jigsawscapes does not have that option!🙃

Lunch today was 1/3 of a Taylor Farms southwest salad kit. Added 3 jumbo cooked shrimp in there, and portioned out the toppings (like a healthy foods drug dealer) and put into snack bags with the other two containers of salad. Portioned out dressing and that went in a mug closed with a clothespin. I had microwaved a "steamables" container of edamame ( 2 servings) but I couldn't finish the salad, so I put the 6+ bites back in the fridge with two containers of the edamame for another time. Sipping my coffee with a tsp of Truiva, and two T of Bliss creamer amazed that appetite correction is a thing!

Dinner is yogurt, 4 oz of steak, some fat free dressing, on a street taco sized tortilla with cheese. Its a bit intimidating my food these days. But they say if you go below reasonable calorie intakes, its just setting your body up for a stall. Your body is smart! I pretty much consume enough to make the my Fitness pal food gods happy.

Worked at the other house yesterday for a few hours. Got the little garden prepped, new raised bed put together(has a TON of nuts/bolts- I think 40 of them), filled and planted. Got tomatoes, cucumbers, hot peppers and pumpkins planted. Not sure what else we will plant.
This morning I worked in my front yard. Getting more pots filled/topped off, one side more organized and ready to plant. Hopefully I will get up early tomorrow and plant it. A lot of the plants are too small but some are ready.
Need to make a trip up to mom's. The tomato plants I bought and the first I started are big and need to be put in the garden up there. May go up during the week beings we have things going on each weekend this weekend and next.

Going to go watch tv in bed- old grandma cat has taken over the recliner so won't disturb her- She got another bath this morning so she is sleeping more today and this evening. She really enjoys her baths. She is quite stinky if I don't give her one at least once a week.

    Have a great night ladies
