who is yours and why? They can be on MFP, a celebritty, friend, family member, etc.
My number one supporter, encourager, motivator, etc., is my husband. For the competition realm, mine is one of my bff's, like a little sister, Ms. Peabody who did her first competition in May. She inspired me to do mine in November. Another in the fitness world is a friend of mine from high school, Chrissy Bernal, also goes by Code Red (Google her - she is AWESOME).
There are quite a few people on MFP that could be named, but that list would go on and on and maybe never end as far as who insprires me and why....I hope to be half as inspiring to others as my friends have been to me.
I just want to thank y'all for your inspiration, inspiring words, support and encouragement!!! You are ALL rockstars in my heart!!

I think everyone here is a frickin' inspiration!! When i am bored and browsing blogs, I like to read and save photos in the "fitspiration" category. I also save and read a lot of weight training articles in my Evernote app that I'll read on my phone whenever I have a couple minutes.0

My inspiration is someone i haven't met yet, someone who will hopefully one day... decide to share the rest of their life with me. Someone who i will be healthy enough to spend a long LONG time with without fighting off different complications of being extremely heavy. Although im not sure who it is yet... I will thank her ahead of time for helping me get this accomplished (*whenever i do finish this journey*)0

You are one of MY inspirations on here. I believe I could stand to learn quite a bit if nutritional information from you as well as try to keep up with all that you do and still look so damn HOT!0 -

That is an amazing source of inspiration! Best of luck on your journey and she will be one lucky lady!0 -
I think everyone on MFP is true inspiration for me! My husband is a giant supporter along with my parents who both have kept a total of 150lbs off for 21/2 years! I think the next summer is also an inspiration because hopefully we will be going to the beach and I haven't been in years!0

My inspirations fluctuate, because I always seem to be finding new ones -- which is easy to do here! But my one constant, rock-solid, forever inspiration is my soulmate/husband, affectionately known as "Hunny." Next month we celebrate our 29th anniversary. I didn't believe in love at first sight until I saw him. He's still the most amazing man I've ever laid eyes on, and partly because I love how he looks at me. I have never, in all these years, felt anything less than sexy and beautiful when his eyes are on me. My mission to return to the size I was when we met is about health and being able to enjoy a long, physically active life with him. I still feel as attractive in his eyes as ever, and I love him all the more for it. Learning to see myself through his eyes has done more for my confidence than losing weight ever could, because I feel more sexy and attractive now than I did 150 pounds & 29 years ago. BUT, I also want to give him back the fit girl I was then -- he deserves the best me that I can give him.
I've found so much inspiration here! So many awesome people! Right now, I'm especially inspired by a recently added friend, Dieselveins. He has worked hard and made the kind of transformation I am aspiring to... losing an incredible amount of weight, becoming extremely active outdoors, and successfully defeating some serious lifestyle-related health issues. It's an incredible help to see someone else who has won the same battle I'm fighting, and to have that person cheering me on every day.
And... as anyone who knows me here is well aware, I am hugely motivated by sexy shoes & boots! I am *not* ready to resign myself to Hush Puppies and Rockport Walkers yet!! Every pound I lose brings me closer to the hot stilettos that make me feel like I'm walking on top of the world. And it helps that my husband thinks "bend over" shoes are a major turn on! •..~
Thanks, Bry, for starting this thread, for being my friend, and one of my many inspirations here! LOVE you, woman!0 -
My daughter is my number 1 inspiration. Then my wife and most importantly myself.
We all have to realize that the inspiration isnt about a single thing but in the end its about ourselves. We owe it too ourselves to get better at eating because this weight issue is something that can bother us in the long run and we owe ourselves a long life and a healthy one. Its hard and it is a tough one but we can do it.0
