Vlog Day 7

Yesterday Update: I felt I did really good yesterday, I had a lazy bone and didn't want to do anything but I got myself outta bed and had breakfast then walked my boys. I later forced myself into the pool for about 20 mins and it was freezing! We were at the pool for an hour and a half, me being the adult I chaperoned and then talked my kid home. After a small break I played basketball for about 15 mins and felt myself getting too hot so I came home. Anybody else watching that Earnhardt documentary on Prime? It wasn't bad... Made dinner and ended my day!
Today I plan to do the same but I don't know about the pool. I kinda have a stomach ache so we'll see how that progresses or not. I did up my step count to 7500. So now there is just a tad more effort.
I can't bring myself to use the hulahoop tool or do ab exercises yet mainly because if I try to pile it all on I know I start to bog down and will most likely lose my streak and motivation.
The app is saying if I keep up with my current momentum for 5 weeks I should be around a low 160lbs but that seems a little fast... it's taken two weeks give or take to lose 3lbs let alone the 17lbs it's trying to say I'll get to…
On the brightside both my son and I are getting some nice sun tans.

Weight loss is conceptually simple but much harder in practice. It comes down to a calorie deficit, nothing more. The problem is, most people guess their intake or activity, and those guesses are usually off. They tend to overestimate how much they burn and underestimate how much they eat. If your goal is to lose weight, precise tracking and measuring is the most effective approach. Otherwise, you’re just hoping your instincts are right.
