    Nice run @chris_in_cal !

    @ContraryMaryMary Sorry you missed parkrun, but sounds like you needed to sleep. I hope sacrificing your Saturday for work pays off in the long run.

    Nice running @tarun_yadavA .

    Thanks @SummerSkier . Isn't it weird how sometimes walking hurts worse than running? I hope your foot gets back to normal soon. The rose didn't look as pretty as I imagined it would, but the buds are beautiful.

    You're doing great this month @Mari33a .

    @Teresa502 You are doing great keeping up with your runs on vacation. Looks like another fun day!

    That's some story on just getting to the race @John772016 ! Love that you all helped each other out. Sounds like you did great given the conditions and the way you dressed. I think you had a great finishing time. Congrats on the top 30% finish overall. My last race was starting cool, but knew it was going to get warmer. I had heard about sleeves from some of the other runners here and had bought some at the expo the day before. I was so glad that I had them. They saved the day for the pre-race wait and through the rainy part of the race. If you don't have any, I'd highly recommend you invest in a pair.

    Nice run @WarmJellyfish . So glad you didn't actually wipe out. My legs feel like that every once in a while. I figure it's not enough sleep, dehydrated, low blood pressure, low blood sugar or something similar, and just cut it a bit short and wait for another day. I love wild roses.

    Great long run @ContraryMaryMary . I hope it dries out a little soon.

    @tarun_yadavA Great job getting out there and getting it done.

    @ContraryMaryMary Lunges are hard.

    @chris_in_cal You are doing great.

    Nice run, as usual @tarun_yadavA .

    Nice running @WarmJellyfish and pretty trail. Yeah, I had a cpap for a while, but quit after I lost about 10 pounds and the new test showed it wasn't "bad" anymore. I hated using that machine.

    Nice run @emptydog .

    Thanks @quilteryoyo, I'll have to check out some sleeves. My physio said similar at my appointment this morning as he knows it's my arms/hands that can't stand the cold. He also mentioned that sometimes he'd double up on the shirts (using a shirt with long sleeves that he doesn't like on the outside) and do a 'strip & dump it' along the race (since they collect clothes and donate them to shelters).
    Nice runs @ContraryMaryMary(& thanks!), @tarun_yadavA, @chris_in_cal, @emptydog!

    Nice trail runs @WarmJellyfish! I'm pretty sure I'd be a muddy (& likely bloody, given my wipeout history) mess after either trail. Congrats on no wipeouts!

    That's my goto @John772016 I put on my race gear and layer over it with bunch of stuff for donation. At the start of the first KM I strip off extra stuff as needed and leave along the side of the route.

    Old, worn, cheap garden gloves for the win!

    No need for sleeves today…. a humid, sweaty run…, it was 26⁰C (feeling close to 30⁰C/ 86⁰ F with the humidex).

    Welcome @nhgodiva . 100K is amazing at any pace!

    Nice chilly run @ContraryMaryMary .

    @kgirlhart I'm glad there was only a little drama at the family reunion. I'm glad someone you knew stopped and gave you a ride back home when it was storming. I agree, there are advantages to living in a small town.

    Nice running @John772016 , and @tarun_yadavA .
