    Nice running @kgirlhart

Thanks for the pictures @yirara . They are beautiful. I must admit though, that I expected it to all be snow covered.

@SummerSkier I'm sorry your foot is still giving you so many problems. Is it time to go get it x-rayed? Also sorry about the dentist. I think you probably did the correct thing by walking out. I've never done anything like that either, but probably should have a time or two. I did sleep some better last night, just because I didn't have to get up early. But, Garmin still gave me a score of 44 because my stress level was high all night. I'll take that over 4 hours of sleep though.

@yirara Wow! Thise pictures are awesome!

@SummerSkier Sorry the foot is still giving you trouble. I think you were right to follow your instincts.

@quilteryoyo I am glad you slept better.

    @John772016 @kgirlhart @quilteryoyo 🙏

Debated whether to go out this morning but sucked it up. Rain started yesterday and supposed to go till tomorrow 🛶. 3 days of wet, rainy, windy and cold. 7c 🥶 Did a 6k wet weather training. ☔️ 200 mile system every which you look and snow in the mountains. Glad I cancelled the backpacking trip, it would have been miserable. Need new shoes and a rain skirt.

    Thanks @kgirlhart .

Sounds like you really enjoyed your trip @yirara .

That is a huge rain system @WarmJellyfish ! I'm sure it would have been a treadmill day for me.

Great run @ContraryMaryMary . I always feel better just knowing that the days are getting longer.

That's rough news @AlphaHowls, I hope the new aide & hospice can ease some of this on you, I know how hard it is.

Nice lake run @chris_in_cal & I felt bad when I slept in & didn't get out until 830 this morning! 😀
    Nice runs/walks @quilteryoyo!
Great arctic pics @yirara & nice run, give yourself time.
Nice runs @SummerSkier (your foot was just reminding you who's in charge). I'd be tempted to get up and leave that office too. I would also blame my shoes….., I would probably blame the shoes that I don't think look as cool though😂
    A nice & wet 6K @WarmJellyfish, I would've been hitting my treadmill with that weather & forecast!!
    Nice 16K @ContraryMaryMary!

Took a couple of rest days as my nerve pain was a bit bad, but back to almost normal this morning.
    A real hot one today!

Tried to get out a bit earlier but it was already feeling like 32⁰C when I got out the door. Made sure to hit the shady side of the streets/park trails. Ended up deciding to run into a park trail that I knew had a lot of shade.

Got to my turnaround point on that trail and ran into a running crew just finishing their own runs coming the opposite direction. The leader looked at me really confused, he thought I was one of his runners, then eventually realized the guy he was looking for had wandered ahead down another path & called him back😁 & apologized to me (he was giving me directions).
I ran by the guy he had lost as he backtracked to connect to his group, he was at least 15-20 years younger than me, so yep, please feel free to confuse me with him 😂

Despite bringing water with me I still lost 4-5lbs in sweat.

That's a world class fisheye shot of people relaxing at the water's edge. Good luck with the jetlag and all the best on your family holiday.

Hello everyone, I haven't had a chance to post since last week. We went to a 3 day car rally event held in the area so I was up really early to fit a run in before heading out each day and not home until 8-9pm each evening.

A lot's been happening, good bad and very sad.

@AlphaHowls - I'm really sorry to hear about the tough time you are going through. We are all here for you.

@tarun_yadavA The panel of toilet controls made me laugh

@ContraryMaryMary It's strange to think you have had your shortest day and we have just had our longest day

Hello everyone. I’m back in the USA. I got out for a 4-mile run this morning. My trip to Germany and Austria was wonderful. After three days on my own in Munich, I was with a tour company for the next week. There were 14 people in our group and the company lived up to its name (Active Adventures). We started the day with breakfast and then it was either hiking, biking, kayaking…something throughout the day. We had all our meals together and I fell into bed each night happy and exhausted. I even went paragliding for the first time in my life. It was so amazing sailing through the air! I posted some photos of various scenery on Strava but I just didn’t have any time to post here for the last several days.

@AlphaHowls – Sending you a big virtual hug during this rough season of your life.

Nice photos of the Artic @yirara . Hope the rib is healed soon.

Singapore looks like a great city to visit @tarun_yadavA. I can almost smell that satay!

@WarmJellyfish – Even with the bear print, that snow looks refreshing on a hot day like today. Also, I always save my stretchy pants for the last day of vacation!

Hope your vacation is off to a wonderful start @quilteryoyo !

I ran 5 miles this morning. It was 72F but felt so oppressive. Took several walking breaks. Need to start carrying water on my run. Didn’t even pass by a sprinkler to run through this morning.

@tarun_yadavA – I agree with @SummerSkier - your oldest is all grown up! That food dish looks very spicy.

@John772016 – Hope your AC is fixed by now.

    I ran 2.76M at 12'04. A nice run, I didn't feel leadfooted.

Pretty perfect weather...sorry to hear about all you heat dome (and NZ ice dome) runners.

It was 76°f degrees again at 5:40 am. I ran a 6.3 mile interval runs. I think I saw a beaver today. It was swimming in the creek . I didn't get a good look at the tail, so it is possible that it was a nutria, but I think it was a beaver.
