Hey all, I'm sure that this is covered somewhere else in the forum, but, I'm also dealing with another ailment besides flu symptoms.

I got a flu shot on Friday while at the doctors office getting blood tests for something else that I'm dealing with. Ever since, I been dealing with flu-like symptoms and feeling too crummy to exercise. I've read that if I over-exercise while sick, I can make my body worse or something. Should I stick to low impact workouts at home rather than go hard at the gym, until I feel better?

Absolutely. Do very light exercise while your body is recovering!!! You don't want to wear out your body while it needs all the fuel and energy it can get to get better.

I would rest and take things lightly for a few days (that being said I got my flu jab yesterday and just did my normal hour of zumba this morning as I forgot all about it! )

Thanks guys. Usually I work through being sick, but, my weekend job is very active, and I noticed on Sunday that the more active I got, the more I ended up with chest pains. At least if I do the exercising at home, I will be in a safe place. I just don't burn as much :-(
